Excellent summary. I have watched this fight closely as have others, and I found that Vitali was testing Solis, all through the round and had finally got the measure of him. He was testing solis's strength and power and walked through it. He then tested his attack and led solis right up the path to the point where he was leading solis into an attack and had the counter ready.Vitali is a master of knowing his opponent.

Solis had good movement and put his punches together well (most of which didn't land, but there were a few that did). But let's not get crazy here, Vitali is still Vitali he didn't get hurt, he didn't panic, he methodically went about his business. Honestly I don't know if Solis will ever be able to return from this injury he already doesn't stay in good shape this will further hinder his progress. Its a shame that's the way the fight happened but oh well c'est la guerre

Solis had 17 fights as pro in 7 years. Who had he fought, enyone in top 10 ? no, he did well in the first 2 min. but to think he would beat Vitali is just too stupid.
@knockup100 The so called punch that supposedly stopped Solis was deflected off the glove and went over his head ! There was absolutely no power behind that punch !! it was a reflex action from Vitali who unfortunately caught Solis off balance. They repeated the sequence several times in slow motion, it was obvious that he twisted his knee and it gave way, to admit that Klitschko had landed a solid punch is ludicrous! His demise will be a solid left hook, I promise you ! mark my words!
@smokeyvelvet42 I never said Solis was stopped because of that punch Vitali gave him lol,
How should Solis be able to take Vitali down ?, Vitali took the best shots from Lennox, and he even survived a killer shot from Sanders. Has Solis more punching power than Lennox and Sanders ?, i dont think so.
@knockup100 Mark my words David will send Wladimir into retirement and I promise Vitali will immediately follow. I predict that both will go down with solid left hooks these two are suckers for these punches. Sanders and Brewters have proven this . They immediately backtrack once hit hard enough then, it is only a matter of time before the writting on the wall. My only fear is that it will be held in Germany which is nortorious for cheating Klitschkos opponents. Any where but not Germany !!!!!
@knockup100 Now you are losing it, who was cheatet in a fight against a Klitschko ?, 9 out of 10 times they ko there oppont after outboxing them so the judges scorecard doesent really matter, if so please come up with a sensible and well considered explanation.
Dam fools are you judging Vitali on the 2 minutes ?? Yes Solis startet well, but there was no power behind his punch. Vitali can go for 12 rounds like no other hw.And it would only be a matter of time before he would take Solis apart.

Solis didn't show much, hard to tell if the punch to his temple was going to put him down or not. I disagree he was bossing anything before then, the fight had hardly got going.
@Gonzoidzz Those that are familiar with the way Klitschkos fight could recognize how this was going. Vitali was doing his usual "Feeling out" process that stars the breakdown of fighters. He feels their power, assesses their skill and abilities, and then breaks them apart. Solis was never in this fight.
@bigragu Dead on! Klitchko was testing Solis, he also knew that Solis is in no shape to go 12 rounds, so he wanted to let him get a little tired. Solis threw a lot of punches, landed some.... typical first round if you look at all of Klitchko's fights. Solis was jumping around, running around and attacking confidently, so his knee was definitely fine until the last few seconds in the fight... so that's fishy... He gets clocked, and grabs his knee... magic.. not really.. he didn't stand a chance
yeah, the half hook, half uppercut punch that landed on the temple totally unhinged Solis. Much to my annoyance given I thought I'd get a closer fight, but props to Vitali Klitschko - huge KO1 win which underlines he has plenty left and will be fighting for another couple of years yet. I hope Haye is a better fight.
There was nothing with his knee until he got knocked down. Im actually fed up with all these excuses boxers have BEFORE the fight. They say all that incase they lose, so they can back up on their "injury" when they get owned ;-) Anyway... I was disapointed. Fight was over to quick ^^ By the way... you dont need to resieve a hard punch on the temple area to go down!!! My 2 Euro-Cent!
@UncleCossack There are also a lot of Italians in Chi-Town! Which is what I am! :) I just say what I see and those dudes are tops in the division right now.
@alejandrowolfskin A serious and independent analysis of the fight. Klitschko was getting punched from every direction you can name he was looking terrible even those few minutes of the first round it was obvious if the fight would have continued in that fashion Vitali would have been knocked early in round 5 or 6. Unfortunately the Cuban inured himself. There was no genuine KO. Solis had this injury before ,once this happens your legs give way . You were lucky Vitali and nothing else. I agree
@smokeyvelvet42 Klitchko was testing Solis, he also knew that Solis is in no shape to go 12 rounds. Solis was jumping around, attacking confidently, so his knee was definitely fine until the last few seconds in the fight... so that's fishy... He gets clocked, and grabs his knee... magic..? i doubt it! He had no power behind his punches. He didn't stand a chance, he showed nothing....
@ironbull2003 The doctors findings reported it definitely was a serious knee injury and he has to operated on. . Could it be that the hospital is lying I doubt it seriouly ? The bottom line is, I saw nothing that Klitschko was offering that looked like anything that would jeopardize Solis on the contrary, if that fight would have continued I am sure Klitschko would have went down! He is so predictable with his fight style you can see his punches a mile away. David will be deciding factor.
@smokeyvelvet42 Like i said, Watch Vitali's fight over his career, he toys with everyone of his opponents in round 1... to see how strong, fast, technical they are... once they are sized up, he gets aggressive, starts throwing harder punches and goes in for the kill... you are judging him on 3 minutes of round one... I'm judging him on his entire career... I think I would know a little more about him. But best of luck to Solis in his recovery, and hopefully he gets healthy, and gets a rematch.
@ironbull2003 Rematch isn't necessary if he fights David Haye ! Because the Klitschko era will be over provided the fight is held outside of Germany I have never in my life encountered so much one sidedeness as in Germany . The Klitschkos are allowed everything, holding, grabbing, pushing your opponent down, wrestling wtf !They stick their arms to hold the opponent at arms lenght which is not allowed in boxing you have to jab or box it is not only torlerated here but condoned :-( Makes me sick
@smokeyvelvet42 I recall them doing rather well in the United States... I also recall people tackling them.... either way nobody can touch them... lol and David Haye is DEFINITELY not the one to take down either of them. Solis knocked his punk ass out... and he got rocked in round one against vitali... Make all excuses you want for Solis, watch that punch during replay, you can clearly see Solis' head rocking from that punch... not a power punch, but clearly more than enough to take him down
@smokeyvelvet42 Haye is the biggest punk I've ever seen set foot in the ring. He talked mad shit, than ran when it came time to fight... went on to barely beat Valuev's fat ass, and defended against 2 nobodies who aren't half the fighters Klitchkos are... and did I mention in all 3 fights he didn't even jab? he either ran from the opponent or stared at them.. THAT my friend is the definition of boring. June 25th.. my bday... also the day Gaye gets exposed as the weak bitch he is.
@ironbull2003 The fight is on the 2nd of July so quit talking such nonsense ! You will watch this so called robotic Ukranian boxer go into retirement once the barrage of punches bewilder this stiff predictable boring so called heavyweight tart ! I wouldn't be surprised if Vitali starts crying because he knows his butt will be up next.
Both of these boring lap dancers will be put to rest, the sooner the better !!! The both of them will be put out of their misery .
@ironbull2003 On the contrary mate, you might have to eat your words when Wladimir goes down in a heap after being tagged with a solid left followed up by right cross. Regardless no hard feelings, you have your opinions and I will definitely remain by mine. We will see which of us really knows something about boxing. I boxed 8 years in the middleweight divisions and I see Klitschkos mistakes they are as plain as the nose on your face. He will go down ,if David plays his cards right :-)

@smokeyvelvet42 if vitali is so predictable and you can see his punches coming a mile away, then why have all these 'world class' heavyweights not been able to beat him? looking at a fight from the outside isn't the same as standing infront of the man!
@johnnie160 World class fighters I beg your pardon. When I see that two of the ring side judges that are officiating are the ones that officiate by the majority of the Klitschkos fights which he demanded in order that the Solis could fight him it smells very fishy. The majority of his fights are held in Germany which these paid stooges are renown for gving out dubious and rediculous decisions ! Klitschkos are hype, once they encounter someone with speed and agility Klitschko era is over!!
@smokeyvelvet42 i did use quotation marks, 'world class'. these are the best heavyweights in the world at the moment! i.e they are world class heavyweights. im not a fan of the klitschkos but they are very good boxers. as the champion they have the right to fight in their home country. why would you fight somewhere els, when you could sell twice as many tickets at home? its easy to pick holes in a fighter when you are watching from the outside.
@johnnie160 Why isn't America interested in the fight ? and that's where the money is ! Simply because they know that the Klitshkos have been fighting rotten apples in order to build their reputation up they are boring and the interest is limited. When they step in the ring where the competition is stiff i.e David Haye, then they will start generating interest They are aware of this one sideness out of Germany so, no thank you !! now it time to put up or shut up. They will go into retirement !
@smokeyvelvet42 ok then appart from haye, who are the stiff competition? the fact is the heavyweights is a poor division! they can only fight who is out there. the same goes for haye, his heavyweight career so far has consisted of the worst heavyweight champ ever, the second worst heavyweight champ ever and the biggest waste of an olympic gold in history, who didn't deserve a title shot!
@johnnie160 That is your own subjective opinion !! David will knock seven colours out of him and put his lights out once and for all. So the 2nd of July we will see ! They are looking for venues to hold the fight as mentioned I definitely hope not Germany under any circumstances !!!!!!!!!
@smokeyvelvet42 im a fan of haye, but his opposition so far hasn't been very tough. just simply for the fact that he, vitali and wlad ARE the heavyweight division. i think haye will beat wlad, but he will have it tougher to take down vitali.
@johnnie160 I am not exactly a fan of David either , but he has generated a lot of interest in boxing at the moment ,what impressed me most was his speed and movements, he has a very good eye when judgeing up his opponents this may be his greatest asset when fighting taller boxers. He is a trash talker but so was Ali and his speed was uncanny. Ali was a light heavyweight boxer initially. Klitschkos are good but unfortunately slow body movements above the hips, leaving them sitting ducks !!
Deport this piggy to CUBA immediately. Solis and his record in HW is a joke. Maybe Fidel remind him how to train well , Vitaly was so pissed off at this fat as whore like he wanted to kick him on the canvas... LOL
vitali thought he ko d him , he was loosing the round . solis turned his punch generated through his legs and must of f..k d his knee as v k only hit his gloves and top of this head no temple , when has V K ever had a 1 st round KO ? its was never even a ko .
solis grabs his knee straight away , probably ligament in knee , . pure pile of shit by jim watt ,
@madscanman1 : Jim Watt was a World Champion boxer. Who the fuck are you... !!! Your opinion is shit, not Watt's. Idiot. You're the type that gets fighters killed in the ring.... Solis was done with a punch to the Temple. The leg was an extra...
@latinaloveruk what kind of tv you got ? black and white analog , Jim watt is a div. i ve listened to him say he s hit him in the temple too saying it was high on the head , ? watch it in hd , and slow it down you clown , who am i ? who ur u 2 say that to me? ,. if his ligament is nt damaged on solis then boxing is not worth watching @ H w / his bro is a chicken too ,. punch to the temple . ? were and when ? vitali was his slow and ponderous self . pure sh,t fight ,
im so glad i never paid to watch that fight, it had good potential because solis looked in good shape, he has power, lacks a bit of speed but i thought would be quicker because hes leaner.
Ended in massive dissapointment.
it was one of very few fights with vitali i was looking forward too aswell lol
Hey bigragu, Solis came in at 246. Does that change your opinion about the fight a bit? I've got some videos of the open workout on wednesday on my account where he appears really focused!
Solis needs to bang that body - neither Klitschko has ever been tested there (I don't think), and it'd be great to see an aggressive fighter like him at least try.
@TheSmilingWolf Chop down the body and the head will fall. The problem is that I think Solis will be getting hit on top of his head like a sledgehammer driving him into the canvas.
Solis appeared to be in good shape (relative to previous showings). Can't see him winning, but I think his style will make it harder for Vitali, so this should be a treat.
Solis has no KO power (same like Adamek ) to stop K2. I dont see the strong argument on Solis side. Maybe a Vitalys injury... thats all. Solis was Olympic champ but in 91 Kg limit (!) is he the same fighter today ( ? actually his weight is 112 kg) - No he isn't. My prediction is Vitaly on pts or TKO.
Solis has come in at 247, equal to his lowest fighting weight to date ! would have liked to see him under 140 ... hopefully it should be interesting somehow
Surprisingly a lot of these online people are saying that it is a toss up on who wins. Have they not seen Klitschko vs Briggs? Briggs was on freakin steroids! Briggs, who has been in there with legends like Lewis and Foreman actually admitted after the fight in the post fight interview that Klitschko was the best he had ever fought. And now this overweight guy from Cuba is gonna come and knock him out? A guy that almost lost a decision to Ray Austin? F**K that!!!
@TheMrElambia Wow. He put down someone which got knocked out with W. Klitschkos first punch. He count even know him out! And without those knockdowns he would be losing the fight by decision as the scores from two judges were 95-93 and 94-93 so he was BARELY winning against a guy who W. Klitschko beat with his first punch. Good job. Can't wait for tomorrow to see this fight. When Vitali wins, just picture me smiling at you :)
@MysteryoftheGods i saw Solis yesterday,he is 107 kg.-now look more than Tyson in hes prime...i think it be that eazy that peolpe think for Vitaly,..yes Austin probably got ko in the 2 round by Wlad, but he also got hes good cash,..come on boy you know what im talking.
@TheMrElambia I getcha, but still, Klitschko is literally 7+ inches taller than Solis. Just watch tomorrow. If Solis wins, message me and rub it in. Say "I TOLD YOU SO!" and all that.
@TheMrElambia LOL! Not. The first punch that Klitschko landed was at that late time. If you look closely it clipped Solis' head in the temple area and that is when he wobbled and fell backwards. At other times during the round he was jumping, running, and hopping on the leg. Solis got KO'd. Just take it and quit being a douche. I won't even ask you to say sorry! Hows that.
Did I read correctly, bicycless211 writes that Vitali does not have the POWER to fend off opponents??? He must never have seen the guy fight!!! That is like saying Floyd Mayweather has slow hands!!!
Did I read correctly, bicycless211 writes that Vitali does not have the POWER to fend off opponents??? He must never have seen the guy fight!!! That is like saying Floyd Mayweather has slow hands!!!
If Vitali lands the jab with ease, i see him stoping Solis in the mid rounds. But, if Solis makes him miss or blocks the jab then Solis has a great chance at the upset with a KO.
@FireGuyX , Vitali may be older, but he's still good enough to win an EASY decision vs anyone. At this point in his career Vitali still has the skill and power to stop anybody, but he doesn't sit down on his punches like he used to and yet he still packs enough power to KO the majority of his opponents. Wlad is the better technical boxer and in the thick of his prime, but Vitali is not far off. Vitali TKO 7 over Solis, won't even be close after 3 rounds.
I heard that Solis has a good training camp and is in much better shape compared to his last fight against Ray Austin. If Solis is in shape and fights to his potential, I would favor Solis.
I think Vitali Klitschko is overrated now. His fight against Kevin Johnson, he looked pathetic. His brother Wladimir is a much stronger boxer, better technically, hits harder, and is faster. Solis isn't that much of a challenge judging from his last fight against Ray Austin. Solis is a really good boxer, but he's lazy and inexperienced. If Vitali wants a challenge he should have called out Chambers, Adamek, or Povetkin, who I would favor over Vitali at this point.
@FireGuyX The reason Vitali didn't look as good against Johnson is b/c Johnson was concentrating on not getting KO. Johnson wasn't fighting back enough and just fighting defense so he didn't become open enough to get countered.
@bicycless211 I think Eddie Chambers is capable of beating Vitali, even Adamek, and Povetkin. Vitali does not have the power to fend off opponents, his brother Wladimir does. He hasn't face a real challenge, and if he is challenged, I think he will lose. If Solis is in shape and fights to his potential, it will be a long night for Vitali.
Solis can come to fight in his best shape, but it's still going to take a very bad day for Vitali for Solis to wind up the winner. Solis is a power puncher, he's got good timing, but he's slow with his hands and feet, he's too delibrate in his attack, and his defense isn't all that great (Haye knocked him down and almost out in the amateurs, a fight Solis came back a won by TKO). I think Vitali slows him down and stops him in 7-8 a bit like the Williams fight, brutal.
Dude you're videos are amazing. But PLEASE stop singing in the introductions. I know one voice isn't enough, but I would just like to emphasize that it can be very annoying. Otherwise, keep up the good work :)
Solis is reportedly in his best shape for a long time. He will be up for the title fight. But probably Vitali will stop him. But I say the toughest fight since Lewis, no kidding!
Vitali by one-sided beating......There is no need for the bros to keep fighting these "bums of the month" type guys....we know who and how the fight is gunna go before it even starts....Bring on either Haye or Adamek or jus stop fighting.....tired of watching the bros beat up scrubs....and evey time they hype it up like "this fights gunna be different" or the other guy has a chance......then the same one sided beating occurs every time
@SinCityMadman Yep, it seems kind of "Same Stuff Different Day". When I say "The Usual ending" and people know I'm talking about a 9-10rd KO that's when you know they are simply tops in the division by a long shot. Haye is it. Not Adamek, Haye and Haye alone. When he falls both Bro's can retire off into the sunset.
@bigragu NO! NO! NO! NOOOO!!! I want to se and undisputed champion! Let Vitali retire! After that Wlad can fight for his belt and finally, in who knows how many years! an undispited champion!!
I watched the Solis Austin fight - Odlanier had little interest at all , no aggresion , a terrible attitude for a fighter - an easy nights work for Vitali
great vid! I watched haye vs solis amateur fight and i couldn't recognize solis, he's so big now and he's slow. I agree klitschko takes him out, probably by retirement on stool.
I saw the last two Solis fights (I think you're thinking of the Ray Austin fight) and he just didn't seem to have much head movement, his power is ok, but I see him eating a whole lot of jabs and crosses before gassing out and quitting on the stool in ten. But speaking of the Briggs fight did you hear he got screwed out of all but 25k of his purse?
@bigragu Yeah, he's suing his management people because he says they defrauded him out of most of the 750k and 97% of his own management company, it's the first result under Google news when you search Shannon Briggs. That's like Don King evil.
Solis sucks...

You could definitely see his left leg wobbling before Vitali Klitschko hit him.
I think most of the damage was done when he came forward - Tyson style.
People can criticise Solis all they want but I for one was genuinely impressed by his performance up to that point.
I don't think he was going to win but he would have made it an entertaining fight.

Fight was over to quick ^^ By the way... you dont need to resieve a hard punch on the temple area to go down!!! My 2 Euro-Cent!

it looked to me like vitali was getting bashed about until solis' knee gave out. You reckon that there is a blueprint to beating him now?
alejandrowolfskin 11 months ago
@alejandrowolfskin A serious and independent analysis of the fight. Klitschko was getting punched from every direction you can name he was looking terrible even those few minutes of the first round it was obvious if the fight would have continued in that fashion Vitali would have been knocked early in round 5 or 6. Unfortunately the Cuban inured himself. There was no genuine KO. Solis had this injury before ,once this happens your legs give way . You were lucky Vitali and nothing else. I agree
smokeyvelvet42 11 months ago
@smokeyvelvet42 Klitchko was testing Solis, he also knew that Solis is in no shape to go 12 rounds. Solis threw a lot of punches, landed some.... typical first round if you look at all of Klitchko's fights. Solis was jumping around, attacking confidently, so his knee was definitely fine until the last few seconds in the fight... so that's fishy... He gets clocked, and grabs his knee... magic..? i doubt it! He had no power behind his punches. He didn't stand a chance, he showed nothing....
ironbull2003 11 months ago
@ironbull2003 The doctors findings reported it definitely was a serious knee injury and he has to operated on. . Could it be that the hospital is lying I doubt it seriouly ? The bottom line is, I saw nothing that Klitschko was offering that looked like anything that would jeopardize Solis on the contrary, if that fight would have continued I am sure Klitschko would have went down! He is so predictable with his fight style you can see his punches a mile away. David will be deciding factor.
smokeyvelvet42 11 months ago
@smokeyvelvet42 Like i said, Watch Vitali's fight over his career, he toys with everyone of his opponents in round 1... to see how strong, fast, technical they are... once they are sized up, he gets aggressive, starts throwing harder punches and goes in for the kill... you are judging him on 3 minutes of round one... I'm judging him on his entire career... I think I would know a little more about him. But best of luck to Solis in his recovery, and hopefully he gets healthy, and gets a rematch.
ironbull2003 11 months ago
@ironbull2003 Rematch isn't necessary if he fights David Haye ! Because the Klitschko era will be over provided the fight is held outside of Germany I have never in my life encountered so much one sidedeness as in Germany . The Klitschkos are allowed everything, holding, grabbing, pushing your opponent down, wrestling wtf !They stick their arms to hold the opponent at arms lenght which is not allowed in boxing you have to jab or box it is not only torlerated here but condoned :-( Makes me sick
smokeyvelvet42 11 months ago
@smokeyvelvet42 I recall them doing rather well in the United States... I also recall people tackling them.... either way nobody can touch them... lol and David Haye is DEFINITELY not the one to take down either of them. Solis knocked his punk ass out... and he got rocked in round one against vitali... Make all excuses you want for Solis, watch that punch during replay, you can clearly see Solis' head rocking from that punch... not a power punch, but clearly more than enough to take him down
ironbull2003 11 months ago
@smokeyvelvet42 Haye is the biggest punk I've ever seen set foot in the ring. He talked mad shit, than ran when it came time to fight... went on to barely beat Valuev's fat ass, and defended against 2 nobodies who aren't half the fighters Klitchkos are... and did I mention in all 3 fights he didn't even jab? he either ran from the opponent or stared at them.. THAT my friend is the definition of boring. June 25th.. my bday... also the day Gaye gets exposed as the weak bitch he is.
ironbull2003 11 months ago
@ironbull2003 The fight is on the 2nd of July so quit talking such nonsense ! You will watch this so called robotic Ukranian boxer go into retirement once the barrage of punches bewilder this stiff predictable boring so called heavyweight tart ! I wouldn't be surprised if Vitali starts crying because he knows his butt will be up next.
Both of these boring lap dancers will be put to rest, the sooner the better !!! The both of them will be put out of their misery .

@smokeyvelvet42 haha ok bro, be sure to come back and make up excuses for Haye losing... when gets knocked out

@smokeyvelvet42 By playing his cards right you mean he has to land a super lucky punch? yea he can win... but the odds are against him....
ironbull2003 11 months ago
@smokeyvelvet42 if vitali is so predictable and you can see his punches coming a mile away, then why have all these 'world class' heavyweights not been able to beat him? looking at a fight from the outside isn't the same as standing infront of the man!
johnnie160 11 months ago
@johnnie160 World class fighters I beg your pardon. When I see that two of the ring side judges that are officiating are the ones that officiate by the majority of the Klitschkos fights which he demanded in order that the Solis could fight him it smells very fishy. The majority of his fights are held in Germany which these paid stooges are renown for gving out dubious and rediculous decisions ! Klitschkos are hype, once they encounter someone with speed and agility Klitschko era is over!!
smokeyvelvet42 11 months ago
@smokeyvelvet42 i did use quotation marks, 'world class'. these are the best heavyweights in the world at the moment! i.e they are world class heavyweights. im not a fan of the klitschkos but they are very good boxers. as the champion they have the right to fight in their home country. why would you fight somewhere els, when you could sell twice as many tickets at home? its easy to pick holes in a fighter when you are watching from the outside.
johnnie160 11 months ago
@johnnie160 Why isn't America interested in the fight ? and that's where the money is ! Simply because they know that the Klitshkos have been fighting rotten apples in order to build their reputation up they are boring and the interest is limited. When they step in the ring where the competition is stiff i.e David Haye, then they will start generating interest They are aware of this one sideness out of Germany so, no thank you !! now it time to put up or shut up. They will go into retirement !
smokeyvelvet42 11 months ago
@smokeyvelvet42 ok then appart from haye, who are the stiff competition? the fact is the heavyweights is a poor division! they can only fight who is out there. the same goes for haye, his heavyweight career so far has consisted of the worst heavyweight champ ever, the second worst heavyweight champ ever and the biggest waste of an olympic gold in history, who didn't deserve a title shot!
johnnie160 11 months ago
@johnnie160 That is your own subjective opinion !! David will knock seven colours out of him and put his lights out once and for all. So the 2nd of July we will see ! They are looking for venues to hold the fight as mentioned I definitely hope not Germany under any circumstances !!!!!!!!!
smokeyvelvet42 11 months ago
@smokeyvelvet42 im a fan of haye, but his opposition so far hasn't been very tough. just simply for the fact that he, vitali and wlad ARE the heavyweight division. i think haye will beat wlad, but he will have it tougher to take down vitali.
johnnie160 11 months ago
@johnnie160 I am not exactly a fan of David either , but he has generated a lot of interest in boxing at the moment ,what impressed me most was his speed and movements, he has a very good eye when judgeing up his opponents this may be his greatest asset when fighting taller boxers. He is a trash talker but so was Ali and his speed was uncanny. Ali was a light heavyweight boxer initially. Klitschkos are good but unfortunately slow body movements above the hips, leaving them sitting ducks !!

solis grabs his knee straight away , probably ligament in knee , . pure pile of shit by jim watt ,
madscanman1 11 months ago
@madscanman1 : Jim Watt was a World Champion boxer. Who the fuck are you... !!! Your opinion is shit, not Watt's. Idiot. You're the type that gets fighters killed in the ring.... Solis was done with a punch to the Temple. The leg was an extra...

Hey bigragu, Solis came in at 246. Does that change your opinion about the fight a bit? I've got some videos of the open workout on wednesday on my account where he appears really focused!
TigerBCN 11 months ago
Solis needs to bang that body - neither Klitschko has ever been tested there (I don't think), and it'd be great to see an aggressive fighter like him at least try.
TheSmilingWolf 11 months ago
@TheSmilingWolf Chop down the body and the head will fall. The problem is that I think Solis will be getting hit on top of his head like a sledgehammer driving him into the canvas.

Solis appeared to be in good shape (relative to previous showings). Can't see him winning, but I think his style will make it harder for Vitali, so this should be a treat.
PFG666 11 months ago
Solis has no KO power (same like Adamek ) to stop K2. I dont see the strong argument on Solis side. Maybe a Vitalys injury... thats all. Solis was Olympic champ but in 91 Kg limit (!) is he the same fighter today ( ? actually his weight is 112 kg) - No he isn't. My prediction is Vitaly on pts or TKO.
sweetbounty 11 months ago
6 times cuban champion,he beated Savon, and Savon had mre punch than Vitaly.-..so watch out Vitaly

MysteryoftheGods 11 months ago
@MysteryoftheGods what are u talking,Solis put Ray Austin 2 times down, did,t u see the fight or what?he,l do the same with ur klischko heroe:
TheMrElambia 11 months ago
@TheMrElambia Wow. He put down someone which got knocked out with W. Klitschkos first punch. He count even know him out! And without those knockdowns he would be losing the fight by decision as the scores from two judges were 95-93 and 94-93 so he was BARELY winning against a guy who W. Klitschko beat with his first punch. Good job. Can't wait for tomorrow to see this fight. When Vitali wins, just picture me smiling at you :)
MysteryoftheGods 11 months ago
@MysteryoftheGods i saw Solis yesterday,he is 107 kg.-now look more than Tyson in hes prime...i think it be that eazy that peolpe think for Vitaly,..yes Austin probably got ko in the 2 round by Wlad, but he also got hes good cash,..come on boy you know what im talking.
TheMrElambia 11 months ago
@TheMrElambia Well check it out again coz he's 112 kg (official weight in)
sweetbounty 11 months ago
@TheMrElambia I getcha, but still, Klitschko is literally 7+ inches taller than Solis. Just watch tomorrow. If Solis wins, message me and rub it in. Say "I TOLD YOU SO!" and all that.

MysteryoftheGods 11 months ago
@MysteryoftheGods that was nothing, solis was domnating from the begining,it wa injury not Ko,Solis was better
TheMrElambia 11 months ago
@TheMrElambia LOL! Not. The first punch that Klitschko landed was at that late time. If you look closely it clipped Solis' head in the temple area and that is when he wobbled and fell backwards. At other times during the round he was jumping, running, and hopping on the leg. Solis got KO'd. Just take it and quit being a douche. I won't even ask you to say sorry! Hows that.

If Vitali lands the jab with ease, i see him stoping Solis in the mid rounds. But, if Solis makes him miss or blocks the jab then Solis has a great chance at the upset with a KO.
Goukuhou 11 months ago
Mark my words people.... 12 rounds points decision for klitschko.
bicycless211 11 months ago
@FireGuyX , Vitali may be older, but he's still good enough to win an EASY decision vs anyone. At this point in his career Vitali still has the skill and power to stop anybody, but he doesn't sit down on his punches like he used to and yet he still packs enough power to KO the majority of his opponents. Wlad is the better technical boxer and in the thick of his prime, but Vitali is not far off. Vitali TKO 7 over Solis, won't even be close after 3 rounds.

@CARLOS62B If Solis attacks hard and draws the Old Skool Vitali it will be over sooner than later.
bigragu 11 months ago
I heard that Solis has a good training camp and is in much better shape compared to his last fight against Ray Austin. If Solis is in shape and fights to his potential, I would favor Solis.
FireGuyX 11 months ago
I think Vitali Klitschko is overrated now. His fight against Kevin Johnson, he looked pathetic. His brother Wladimir is a much stronger boxer, better technically, hits harder, and is faster. Solis isn't that much of a challenge judging from his last fight against Ray Austin. Solis is a really good boxer, but he's lazy and inexperienced. If Vitali wants a challenge he should have called out Chambers, Adamek, or Povetkin, who I would favor over Vitali at this point.
FireGuyX 11 months ago
@FireGuyX The reason Vitali didn't look as good against Johnson is b/c Johnson was concentrating on not getting KO. Johnson wasn't fighting back enough and just fighting defense so he didn't become open enough to get countered.
bicycless211 11 months ago
@bicycless211 I think Eddie Chambers is capable of beating Vitali, even Adamek, and Povetkin. Vitali does not have the power to fend off opponents, his brother Wladimir does. He hasn't face a real challenge, and if he is challenged, I think he will lose. If Solis is in shape and fights to his potential, it will be a long night for Vitali.

Questionmarksign 11 months ago
Solis can come to fight in his best shape, but it's still going to take a very bad day for Vitali for Solis to wind up the winner. Solis is a power puncher, he's got good timing, but he's slow with his hands and feet, he's too delibrate in his attack, and his defense isn't all that great (Haye knocked him down and almost out in the amateurs, a fight Solis came back a won by TKO). I think Vitali slows him down and stops him in 7-8 a bit like the Williams fight, brutal.

Vitali by one-sided beating......There is no need for the bros to keep fighting these "bums of the month" type guys....we know who and how the fight is gunna go before it even starts....Bring on either Haye or Adamek or jus stop fighting.....tired of watching the bros beat up scrubs....and evey time they hype it up like "this fights gunna be different" or the other guy has a chance......then the same one sided beating occurs every time
SinCityMadman 11 months ago 3
@SinCityMadman Yep, it seems kind of "Same Stuff Different Day". When I say "The Usual ending" and people know I'm talking about a 9-10rd KO that's when you know they are simply tops in the division by a long shot. Haye is it. Not Adamek, Haye and Haye alone. When he falls both Bro's can retire off into the sunset.
