i wish we were this good. but granted, our marching band program just started 4 years ago and we only have 38 people in it. we performed our whole show last night:) weve imrroved quite a bit though

coming from a 3A band, Let me say this. American Fork IS amazing. They work hella hard. Davis is also pretty damn good. These 2 bands are consistantly fighting and let me tell you, some years are better than others. AF's "Greatest Generation" brought me to tears. It was after MY home competition that the accident happened and to see them pull forward stronger than before was amazing. I can honestly say that I've seen some beautiful things come from Davis too. so chill! we do this cuz we love it!

Guys, calm down. Once you graduate you will mature and realize it was all about having fun. If you got 2nd or 1st it doesn't matter, you still did it. It the big scheme of life, it doesn't matter. No one knows and know one cares. You aren't any less of a person since you didn't win. I used to be all gung-ho band as well. You just kind of get over it.

JakeBros3, Davis is a really good band. They are always the won I freak out about because I'm afraid they will snatch everything during the awards. I have also seen your visuals they are great. It has been fun competing against you this year, AF is doing really good with sweeping every competition. Everyone has a great show. AF is just the band that has the most points and the biggest trophies! :)

This is absolutely AMAZING. My school, Thurston High of Redford MI, is doing this show this year and it is no where close to as good as this. However we do only have like 98 members in our marching band. But well done!

I really enjoyed the music in this show, great job musically. Visually.. well.. I just didnt do it for me. You didnt have any really cool drill, there were just so many band members on the field you didnt have a whole lot to work with. Based on this performance I would give you an 8.5 musically and a 5 visually.

Im in the Davis High Marching band BTW, and your going to get a run for your money this year. Our show is freaking amazing! Good luck beating us, and good luck this year!

Who do you think you are? You're acting like you have expertise, clearly you don't. This makes you and your band sound bad. Davis is full of great people, you're an embarrassment to them. Yeah its too bad the judges are so biased toward you guys, and if you think im wrong look at mt timpanogos, in the many years it has been there AF has never lost! The judges are more biased this year than any previous years, your show this year is so freaking pathetic, you can count the number of times the melody plays and moves at the same time on one hand, and your woodwinds never even cross the 50 yard line. Sorry but what is your maximum marching tempo? 140? Do you even play and move? nope

Well, another reason why AF usually never loses mt. timpanogos is because they actually have connections to judges that actually know what they are talking about... instead of going to the davis cup where a flute player judges Drums... Davis is gaining more and more respect through their hard work. Their time will come, but you trash talking about something you just don't know about doesn't help their cause a bit. Think correctly before posting comments on youtube.

You are telling me that I am talking about stuff I don't know about, and you say something like we have a flute player that judges drums? Really? And its percussion not drums, Davis cup has one of the best judging panels of any northern utah competition because we hire the best. And ANY competition regardless of sport that has a single team or group win every time is very biased. AF not having lost Mt Timp once proves that the judges never have, and never will know how to judge.

@JakeBros3 Actually yeah, I DID cross the fifty. A lot. I'm a clarinet player. And I'm sure you can't tell what instrument people are playing as you're watching this. The brass and woodwinds switch sides completely and then all mesh together. Sorry you're retarded and don't know what you're talking about. AND we almost always played while we marched. It was one thing we begged Mr. Miller not to do anymore. So eat it.
