Ha, is this from the tv series or what, because the narrator is from the series, but the graphics seem too good for the early eighties? Either way Douglas Adams is a legend. I hate though how people all said that and another thing was bad, because it was not the origional author, but he's dead and I thought Eoin Colfer did a great job of replicating Adam's style.

It's like a five-year-old trying to fix his mother's fine china set by throwing random pieces out and accidentally making a giraffe out of the remaining pieces.

Nice analogy :D.. but i really believe that to make the plot of Hitchhikers guide into a film, you need to take all the bits loved by people and work those into a film, as the original plot isn't really up to that of a film. and from what i have read and seen on the making of the film, Douglas Adams agreed, and before his death he wrote out a draft script, not unlike the film we have now.
