Wenn Kraftwerk mal bissel was anspruchsvolleres machen würden und anfangen würden Psytrance zu produzieren boah will garnicht wissen was da rauskommen würde:-)
excellent!!! brilliant timeless track and outstanding video showing keyboard action close up + decent sound quality too - especially for the equipment you managed to get into the gig!! must have been difficult to hold zoom steady and appreciate the music at the same time!! would have given anything to see this performance at Tilburg....
I saw this show when it was in Seattle. The 'music non stop' vocoded voice lasted for nearly 30 minutes after the show. It was ethereal and utterly and completely cool.
The problem with kraftwerk, they were innovative in 70's and 80's but haven't really progressed much since then, from what i heard of today's kraftwerk stuff.
its not a playback dude, man listen other videos with performance on this track and you will see that every time there is something different ofc the main loop sample stays the same because its the base of the track but every time its something new, they are mad as hell love them, one of the creators of electronic music. Respect as always
@TheKiwiMaster Man, I know EXACTLY what you mean! First time I heard this track, I thought it was sort of schmeggy, but immediately gained interest and respect for it upon hearing it again.

Great work with cam. Yeah best music ever made. Loved this from early 70. its a shame that Florian leaved. Also Karl Bartos my fav. dude leaved Kraftwerk in the 90ties. To bad because he did alot for Kraftwerk(song writing) With Karl it was possible to bring Metropolis live. But still i love this. Kraftwerk 4 ever.

I don't know... I think that the songs they made in the 80's is really their weakest stuff, I suppose a lot of that could be explained as them being "experimental", not to mention that they tried to have an all digital setup in a time when digital synths were very primitive.
Hey KRAFTWERK FANS! The german musican Sabrina Setlur has stolen a sample of 'Metal On Metal' (without any authority from Kraftwerk). The german law has to entitle to do this. Search "Sabrina Setlur nur mir" on YouTube, watch this video and complain there! (Sorry for my bad english)
These are the pioneers of electronic music who began more than 3 decades ago. The first to use keyboards. Being sampled by groups like Depeche Mode and New Order, to name a few. They have inspired so many musicians. I adore this performance . Kraftwerk gets down! P.S. this is my favorite song of Kraftwerk.
Every music has its style, and this is said by a JMJ, DP and Kraftwerk fan. Nafoute, I respect your opinion, Kraftwerk are fathers of electronica, but JMJ will always have a place of my mind. (JMJ is a Kraftwerk fan!)
HaHa! Florian grabs his "I-pod" thingie [4:15] and skips offstage- Fritz & Henning take their turns- then Ralf takes his "I-pod" [7:45] and damn-near TRIPS over some cables as he's jaunting offstage. [8:00] -Hilarious! Nobody noticed that? Great overhead close-up shots to see what they're playing! Ich Liebe Die MENSCH-MASCHINE!!
This song is amazing. In fact, two songs rolled into one, "Boing Boom Tschak" and "Music Non Stop". The middle song, "Techno Pop", apparently didn't make it as a hit.
Ableton? Not sure about that. Last I heard they were incorporating Cubase into their shows a bit, but they are also still running analog sequencers as well. In fact, most of their tracks are played completely live with no pre-sequences at all. The sequencers are used as more of an interface for plug ins and soft synths to slim down their massive touring rig. At least that what I read recently in an interview with Hutter.
Great details on the instruments! I always thought they were using mixing consoles, but it looks like they may be custom midi controllers, then again "who knows?"
