  • @nonstoppharaohon:

stupid.you can build total new instruments?you can bring a revolution to music?you can play many instruments?

you can have a big mouth, thats all you can, idiotevery sound you hear here is made by kraftwerk.no sample.

  • only captive in ...

  • goeie video!

  • BRILLIANT camera work!

  • wow the sound is great with a sennheiser HD 201

  • Very funny to see Florian Schneider hopping off the stage and Ralf Hütter tripping off the stage.

  • excellent!!! brilliant timeless track and outstanding video showing keyboard action close up + decent sound quality too - especially for the equipment you managed to get into the gig!! must have been difficult to hold zoom steady and appreciate the music at the same time!! would have given anything to see this performance at Tilburg....

  • For fuk sake! pathetic!

  • pathetic!

  • AMAZING .. MUSIC NON STOP

  • Kraftwerk 4ever!

  • Nice, the last guy almost fell coming off the stage :) Oh well, they're fucking amazing at making music so it doesn't matter

  • I saw this show when it was in Seattle. The 'music non stop' vocoded voice lasted for nearly 30 minutes after the show. It was ethereal and utterly and completely cool.

  • wow... this music is really non stop.. even today...

  • This is one of the best boots I've ever seen and heard! Excellent work!

  • Excellent video I could see everything they did with their tables : )

  • And here I always thought Florian was just surfing the net when he was on stage.

  • QUE TOTAL killandy572

  • ppl who started elektro!! they are genius!

  • saw them live in SF nearly a decade ago, and they were epic

  • The problem with kraftwerk, they were innovative in 70's and 80's but haven't really progressed much since then, from what i heard of today's kraftwerk stuff.

  • @coolbreeze1979 your clearly an idiot

  • una cagada menos onda que ....... mo se una cagada

  • Hi, If you like Kraftwerk I invite you to listen to my songs on my channel

    Attentively

    Analog Von Lord

  • gorgeous...!!! damn.... its really more than 25 years ago.... unbelievable

  • its not a playback dude, man listen other videos with performance on this track and you will see that every time there is something different ofc the main loop sample stays the same because its the base of the track but every time its something new, they are mad as hell love them, one of the creators of electronic music. Respect as always

  • Good music, but its a playback

  • @abaikitty do you really understand this music concept?!

  • Die Alten Roboter spielen noch gute Music.......

  • That's good footage, I was wondering if they were really doing anything behind the laptops.

  • Interresant mal zu sehen wie die das Spielen

  • Kraftwerk is the probably the only band that come get away with leaving the stage while the music is still playing.

  • :) how very true!

  • Not to mention not being on stage at all for a whole song (The Robot). ;-)

    Love them !

  • @InvaderAlex22 Mark E Smith does that all the time...

  • anyway, nothing's like the original.

  • Genius.

  • cei mai tari .care dj de azi poate sa-i intreaca

    ?

  • very very, nice classic and good

  • The GODS of electronic space. Geniuses of our era

  • nah, their era was the 20th century...

  • Epic

  • Kraftwerk are just the bees knees :)

I find that some of their songs, if you listen for the first time, you dont like them, but when you listen to them again they are fab :D

  • @TheKiwiMaster Man, I know EXACTLY what you mean! First time I heard this track, I thought it was sort of schmeggy, but immediately gained interest and respect for it upon hearing it again.

  • i was ateenager wen dis shit came out ,brings back good ol memories ,da 80s were the best times on earth i dont give a fuk ,wat they say

  • The Masters of electronic music indeed. The true godfathers!

  • w0w super nice;)

  • Brilliant.

  • Original.......nicht kopierbar.

  • classic

  • Gods. Ich vermisse dich, Florian ='[

  • son los maestros de la musica electronica music non stop

  • boing boom tsack boing boom tsahck zoom music non stop

  • Just awesome!!!...heerlijke muziek!

  • gotta love how they put on a great show for their audience. their stage performance is just amazingly complex and full of speed

  • well.... I love their hair style.

  • Love techno and trance music - it's Kraftwerk who got me into it, way way back in the 80's. Superb music - keep it non stop.

  • @Chaltok Me too. It was Kraftwerk that gave me my first taste for techno music

  • nice to see what goes on behind those sythisizers

    AAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++++

  • Are they musicians that sounds as DJs, or DJs that sounds as musicians? Simply perfect!

  • I like the metaphor of Florian Schneider leaving the stage first. It's exactly reflecting the way the band was about to become.

  • Hurricane 2009 in Germany

  • We will miss the discretion of Florian.

  • the show was fantastic!!!! one of the best i ever saw!!!! i hope to see them again!! one of the best bands in the world!!!!!

  • Great work with cam. Yeah best music ever made. Loved this from early 70. its a shame that Florian leaved. Also Karl Bartos my fav. dude leaved Kraftwerk in the 90ties. To bad because he did alot for Kraftwerk(song writing) With Karl it was possible to bring Metropolis live. But still i love this. Kraftwerk 4 ever.

  • Comment removed

  • niiiiceee camera work!!!!!

But... have you seen any other kraftwerk video showing more kraftwerk's members's fingers close-ups ? Wow ! (thats!!!! true!!!)

  • love the fourth dude :]

  • Thak you so much fot the video! I saw their show in 2005 ou 2005 (can't remember exactaly) and last month, in Brazil and this music was really different. They looked more spontaneous in the video.

  • The first guy to leave the stage (Florian), left the band. When he left, he took all of his vocals, instruments and files with him. Stefan (the guy who you say) joined them since 2008. He is still learning, but as you can notice in those concerts, people don't seem to give him a chance.

  • Stefan Pfaffe is a member of the Kling Klang Crew since a few Years. Stefan is the Video Operator and had nothing to do with Music Production.

  • These 4 men are GENIUS'!!

  • i though the camera work was just fine, awesome fing video man, seriously

  • Sorry, I'm no Russel fucking Mulcahy

  • Ok, it's a shame I couldn't hide the steady cam and all the technical crew in my pants that night. I only had room for that old tiny canon mv4

But... have you seen any other kraftwerk video showing more kraftwerk's members's fingers close-ups ? Wow !

  • Nafoute, your response cracked me up and...I LOVED IT! I fucking hate little armchair pissants that sit at home/work and click-n-pick on any and every thing, bitching at something they themselves could never even conceive to BEGIN to accomplish, refering to your camera work, which was DAMN GREAT and I myself cannot figure out how you did it with a massive degree of shake. Great angle, too (good seat). Anyway....

  • BTW nice cam work, great work.

  • @Nafoute

totally right, i always thought they had just only laptops xD, but what are those instruments they're using?

  • @phototristan How can you say it's horrible camera work?!

  • KRAFTWERK RULE!!!

  • DAS IST DER HAMMER

  • WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!

  • I thought the little hopping thing Florian did as he was going off stage at 4:22 was really funny. Ah, I miss Florian, he was the crazy/funny one of the group.

  • IF YOU DONT GET IT. GO AWAY .

  • don't under-estimate these german roboter, i saw them last night before radiohead in são paulo, they're concert was really cool to dance to and visually amazing.

besides, if there were to kraftwerk, there would be no dj shadow, so there would've been no ok computer. =]

  • pure german perfection

  • THE BOMB! This ROCKS!

  • spettacolari

  • are you completely mad??

  • 5*****

  • Hammer Geil das war meine Zeit !

    Live ist Kraftwerk am geisten.

  • KRAFTWERK BIG UPP!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bam !!! E.N.O.R.M.E.

  • Masters of minimalism, sultans of simplicity...love these guys.

  • SEE U TO TOMORROW LIVE IN HK 5-12-2008

  • These are the pioneers of electronic music who began more than 3 decades ago. The first to use keyboards. Being sampled by groups like Depeche Mode and New Order, to name a few. They have inspired so many musicians. I adore this performance . Kraftwerk gets down! P.S. this is my favorite song of Kraftwerk.

  • I want one of those legit light up Tron-esque glow in the dark suits!

  • don't want to critic them, i just befere original version ;) i like synthetic music, but more emotional

  • Ok no pb.

Maybe i overreacted upon your previous comment.

    Peace

    It's more fun to compute

  • no interet, pure techno, repetitive music, thanks to the sequencer.

it's like around the world from Daf punk..

  • It's an honour for kraftwerk to be criticized by a Jarre fan.

    Jarre ""music"" is way better

    (for morons)

  • Every music has its style, and this is said by a JMJ, DP and Kraftwerk fan. Nafoute, I respect your opinion, Kraftwerk are fathers of electronica, but JMJ will always have a place of my mind. (JMJ is a Kraftwerk fan!)

  • Who is this JMJ?

  • Jean Michel Jarre!

  • :O xD

  • HaHa! Florian grabs his "I-pod" thingie [4:15] and skips offstage- Fritz & Henning take their turns- then Ralf takes his "I-pod" [7:45] and damn-near TRIPS over some cables as he's jaunting offstage. [8:00] -Hilarious! Nobody noticed that? Great overhead close-up shots to see what they're playing! Ich Liebe Die MENSCH-MASCHINE!!

  • i noticed, but i didn't find it hilarious. =D

  • What Ralf takes at 7:44? A Cellphone? A Palmtop?

  • The transmitter for his mic I suppose

  • i think its something so they can talk to eachother on stage.

  • i think one of them had to run of for a piss.

  • lol thats right it looks ike they must go to toilett...danger lol

  • Great band!

A source of inspiration for many trancers from today (Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyck...).

  • muito louca ja é

  • Wow. Just wow.

  • This song is amazing. In fact, two songs rolled into one, "Boing Boom Tschak" and "Music Non Stop". The middle song, "Techno Pop", apparently didn't make it as a hit.

  • Ableton ;)...

  • Ableton? Not sure about that. Last I heard they were incorporating Cubase into their shows a bit, but they are also still running analog sequencers as well. In fact, most of their tracks are played completely live with no pre-sequences at all. The sequencers are used as more of an interface for plug ins and soft synths to slim down their massive touring rig. At least that what I read recently in an interview with Hutter.

  • Great details on the instruments! I always thought they were using mixing consoles, but it looks like they may be custom midi controllers, then again "who knows?"

  • I'd bet anything that they're all using Ableton Live.

This version is even better than the Minimum/Maximum version.

  • Word is they run Cubase SX onstage.

  • My understanding is they are running Sony Viao laptops with full custom Midi controllers and customized Cubase software. Just think, back in the old days they had to carry the ENTIRE studio on tour with them in order to approximate their sound. Now they can do it with basically what you see on that stage. AWESOME!

  • Brilliant Folks...Pioneers of electronica....Innovators not imitators...

  • Watch Florian gallop of stage from 4:15 onwards lol

what's he got in his hands?

  • his wallet?

  • Who said people were ready back than? I used to listen to the from about 1978 and all ready they were quiet famous. That is in Europe.

  • The best manufacturers of cars of the world also are the biggest manufacturers of music, long life for the Kraftwerk.Incredible.Incredible.Incredible.Incredible.Incredible.Incredible.Incredible.Incredible.Incredible.

  • Cool vid, v. interesting zoom-ins alright. Good upload, Thanks!

  • Can you uh say.............."LEGENDARY! Fan since 86, still love these guys.

  • People weren' ready for Kraftwerk back then. This is classic

  • Use of 3D models for a techno music video, analog drum machines, snyths, samplers, they were far ahead of their time. It's not fair that people weren't ready.

  • priceless

  • LOL gooooood memory. awesome stuff!!!!

  • Saw them at Roskilde Festival back in 1998 where they totally rocked. I didn't knew they stille wew touring.

  • They had to stop touring for a while, but the resumed once they had been fitted with new robotic bodies.

  • Langweilig? den geh doch die scheiss musik von heut zu tage anhören...muli
