  • Update your movie list. I will pay you more for better content. You have a great opportunity to beat down my cable company here.....never liked them anyways....

  • I'm just going out on a limb here, I'm guessing they were sponsored by hulu.

  • i have Blu Ray with netflix and when i tried netflix i didnt ask me for nothing so im using netflix without paying :D

  • Honestlly, Netflix sucks because it doesn't really have any good movies.

  • i wonder how much they got paid to do this video.

  • If this video was a pancake, it would use Netflix

  • If this video were a pancake, it would be a very bad pancake 0.o

  • Well now you have to pay for streaming and mailing seperately at a total of 15 bucks you assholes

  • Heh, I want to see an updated version of this video considering what Netflix has done to their customers and how things have changed.

  • This was old. Netflix is not what you're talking about anymore.

  • @cachdoan I was being sarcastic. Of course the head of a company should be making a lot of money. It's not like they were randomly placed in that position, they worked damn hard to get there.

  • Interesting that I came here through your advertising video. Advertising is all bout lying. How ironic.

  • Pay? Haha.... wait, wait, wait... PAY?! LOOOOOOOL .... serioulsy.... PAY? All right, all right, just a minute, let me turn on my Bittorrent App while I laugh at your face.

pfh... the nerve on that guy! lol XD

  • The movie selection for Netflix Canada was created in 1980. Seriously. They are mostly old movies (mostly terrible) and cheap rip-offs of new movies and movies NO ONE has ever heard off. RIP OFF. CANCELLED netflix subscription yesterday. I'd rather rent movies from Blockbuster. -_-

  • @MrGameboy0895 They took down all the blockbusters were I live, can you believe that? and the store sold all there movies to random people. Now I have no choice but use netflix -_-

  • That smile kills newborn... what the fuck bro...

  • ceos should not make millions but I guess that's what capitalism is all about

  • @runtubefantasy Yeah dude, the people who head the company and run everything totally shouldn't make money out of it.

  • @moshpotpaul they have to make money but not as much that is what i think you ment

  • i love netflix. they are the best!

  • netflix sux ass for real theres only like 3 good movies online

  • taking away all starz movies and raising prices by 60% AWESOME!!!!!

  • That was some shameless advertising right there. :P

  • Netflix is slowly ripping people off, and redbox is crap! Blockbuster is so much better now that they were scared into near bankruptcy

  • @skippy563 I guess blockbuster paid you to post this comment everywhere

  • I LOVE NETFLIX!!!

  • All Movies should be online & if want come my mail because sometimes I have no time to sit at home & watch movie but on the go I can watch movies on my tablet

  • I've been a bit disappointed in Netflix ever since they raised the prices. My parents are planning only doing instant now to save cash, so I'm never going to get to see any new releases.

  • I dont know about the US but Netflix Canada fucking sucks. All the movies are old

  • @Shane444888 same here

  • Torrent everything

  • I love Netflix. They just never have the T.V show or movie I actually want to watch. I read this article which was tips for saving money. The author suggested getting rid of cable and get your entertainment from Netflix, which is considerably cheaper.

  • I'm switching to redbox.....

  • There is a like page on Facebook that is getting a lot of attention. Join it if you are against this price change: On Facebook, type in "1,000,000 people who will not stand for Netflix's new prices."

  • uhm, so how does this works again? you sign in at netflix, rent, and then netflix send a red mail, by the way, what is the redmail for? I though it works like this: sign in, choose what movie you want to watch, and it will directly stream it to your computer? any idea?

  • @orika001 they have different options

when you sign up you get to pick which plan you want

for $7.99 you can watch all movies you want online

for $9.99 (which is the one i have) you can watch all movies you want online, plus, if the one you want to see is not available or you just want to watch on the tv, you request it, and they send it to you, in that redmail. (with this one you can have only one dvd out at a time)

there are many other plans to chose from (:

  • @Flaki305 ok thanks! that helps

  • @orika001 and with the free trial you get to watch all movies you want for one month, and if you dont like the site just cancel your subscription and you wont have to pay nothing.

    hope that helps!

  • I HEART NETFLIX

  • It's funny how even Youtube videos are starting to become outdated and old.

  • lol i cant sign up for a netflix account because i live in malta-malta isnt in narnia dammit its in europe :@!!!!

  • Is it me or is this guy creepy?

  • @grapeape1969 its just you lol hes a kewl dewd :P

  • I wonder how much Netflix paid him.

  • SOMEBODY sold out for ad space...

  • Sell out

  • WTF how much u get paid for this ad?

  • I like Netflix because I hate television. I like that even though they don't have everything on instant I have a choice to choose what I want to watch and not hope for the thousandth time that maybe a good movie is on tv or maybe there's a decent band playing live on some late night show. There's pretty good tv shows up already that I didn't get to watch because of work and school. I thank Netflix because I can finally catch up on all the shows I missed out on.

  • "you can easily stream..LOOKS OVER TO THE TV..movies online!" 0:50-0:55

  • Why every good moving like, dancing with the devil, cadyshack, , sixteen candles, alien vs predator and alot more are not available to watch instantly. The commercial is false advertising saying "Alot of movies can be watch instantly over the net from the tv".

  • i bet i could pirate an hd movie faster than they could deliver

  • Fuck you Netflix!!!! Your instant movies are CRAP!!!!

Your uploading speed suck donkey dick!!

  • free money :)

  • 0:04 Very, Very, Very scary

  • I totally though he said "rape" movies at :37 hahaha

  • @colten909 The fact that he looks very creepy doesn't help either. Did you see that face he made at :07?!

  • thumps up if you think they need more instant que movies.

  • Now I'm ranting but in other words. Netflix wanted to become Dish Network with the dish part replaced by the internet and without the costs of getting new content at the real wholesale price. Too bad for them the movie studio's parent companies control acces to the internet and would much rather do business with DirecTV and Dishnetwork. Those are the companies that still turn great profits for the studios.

  • @gakkerout Vudu is Dishnetwork/On Demand PPV through the internet. It practices the same PPV business model but allows you to keep the movies.

Netflix is more like the old Blockbuster membership card where you paid a monthly fee. Only it's without the store. Or consistently changin policies on late fees and pricing and "that one employee" with the condescending taste.

  • @DoctorWeeTodd You hit the nail on the head. Netflix is finished because the studios are killing it's low price in the coming months. Netlfix is $10 for unlimited streaming a month. Vudu is $2 per film, so that means you only get 5 films for $10. Netflix's streaming deal is about to expire. It was getting streaming rights for $40million a year, now Starz wants $200million a year. No Starz and there goes 1/2 of Netflix films. Let's see Netflix offer $10 unlimited streaming after that.

  • @gakkerout You may be correct that Netflix may have to charge higher prices but they're far from finished.

Remember when Blockbuster copied Netflix's movie by mail model? We all expected them to kill Netflix. Tomorrow a Federal Judge will rule whether the bankrupt company can stay in business or be liquidated.

Netflix has an advantage having the most experience in the online streaming movie business. They also have a solid platform and strong loyal customer base.

  • @DoctorWeeTodd Yeah, I'm waithing on that, I work at the warehouse and that judge holds my job by his deciscion. Thanks a lot netflix!!!

  • @DoctorWeeTodd Yes "finished" is a pushing it. Though it's loyal customers staying is not. Every post I read about Netflix's cheap customers on message boards all scream bloody murder if the price were to rise to above $20, which I suspect will most likely hit $30. I actually see them migrating to Vudu. PPV means no money spent on months you don't watch. I'm glad there's still a small video store in my town, besides movies I also rent games. Netflix bit the hand that fed it content, not wise.

  • What you ought to know about Netflix is that they will soon be jacking up their price and make you wait months for content. It's becoming a watch your show/movie whenever you want, as long as it's 4 months old. The studios are done giving it any price cuts and now want full wholesale price for thier content. Netflix can't afford that. The studios killed thier tried and true cash source, rental stores, by catering to Netflix and Redbox, now they are trying undo their mistake.

  • i'm too lazy

  • Just purchased a NETFLIX giftcard for my son. He wanted to set up an account to watch movies on his Xbox Well, guess what? You still have to have a credit card! I don't think so NETFLIX There are no returns. The only thing stated on the giftcard is"valid payment method required to redeem" but gave no details of what NETFLIX considers to be "Valid payment method: how nice. They are making huge bucks ripping ppl off this way!

  • but we dont get the new fast

  • Ya I just joined netflix and it's nice looking at all the great movie selections they have it was very exciting. Until I noticed I couldn't watch any of the ones I like I had to "put it in que" and forget about it while they send me an obsolete dvd to my mailbox. This is not the late 90s an we don't need its technology anymore. I want my movies dammit and I want them now streaming to my computer the way they should be.

  • @HCJQ Your probably using 64 bit system I do Not know about Netflix but many Internet videos will only work with 32 bit system, I recommend Linux Mint Isadora or Julia does Not have to be Installed to work. Also YouTube & Fancast & Hulu have many television & movies of course most r B movies but some r very good but of course picture quality of streaming sucks. I buy many used VHS & DVD & Blu Ray from Amazon. If Its a extreme classic Not on Blu Ray yet I buy on VHS until Blu Ray comes out.

  • Netflix billing me before 30 day period is over...what should I do. ?

  • @FalconFreek maybe we arent cheap assholes and acctually want more videos to be made and dont want debt going to the government because god knows we have way to much debt as it is

  • If you want Netflix for online only,, not worth it.. Their inventory online is about the same in comparison to Youtube. In fact I even found a couple movies to watch here on Youtube that I couldnt on Netflix online..

And I bet its only a matter of time before Youtube COMPLETELY sells out and starts charging money . To be straight up, Id rather have video rental stores than this crap.. At least you can go out and meet people while your browsing.

  • Movie stores may be nasty but once Netflix complete take over the world then fee will go up.

  • so u have a choice to get the mailed dvd or watch instant?? cause im to lazy to pick it up from mailbox and i dnt want to wait and im to lazy to give the movie back

  • NETFLIX!

  • @FalconFreek Yeah but there are things called bugs and virsues

  • Netflix sucks in canada nothing is available, tried everything i like to watch!!!! there's no new movies.... why pay for something when there's nothing you wont on it? good thing they let you try it for free.... i'll stay with VUZE it's free all the time

  • Is everything he said still true about netflix?

  • does it ship in canada?

  • Hey....Why won't Netflix work with Vuzix video glasses over the IPOD?

  • netflix no longer send you dvds

  • @wrabit79 It's so sad that some fool would read your comment about Netflix not sending out DVDs anymore and actually think it's true.

I won't be surprised if someone like you get their news from Fox News.

  • torrent ?

  • sell out!!

  • NETFLIX sucks so much fuck. They have NO MOVIES... I REPEAT, NO MOVIES. No Hangover, no Step Brothers, no Twilight, no SOUTHPARK, no 300... no fuckin nothing.

  • @bIured umm they have every episode of south park available for streaming online, and the rest of your list available for dvd rental. stop bullshitting

  • @bIured by what ive seen they have all those movies

  • @bIured Should we really take the opinions of someone who watches "Twilight" with anything other than muted contempt?

  • 26 people are about to lose there jobs at the video store

  • Netflix is awesome

  • just have netflix through your xbox

  • dont use netfilx its fucking garbage. they say it "streams" but it uses up your data like MAD its fucking garbage.

  • Netflix and Redbox killed the movie rental stores and about time.

  • @Shargrailar yeah, but what bites is that netflix stopped selling cheap DVDs...at least with my local video store I can get newer releases at discount prices long before walmart reduces their prices.

  • i really wish i had an account for netflix but my parents dont let me use their credit card :(

  • I love Netflix. Get to watch all sorts of tv seasons and such. I can't do that with Redbox. I use both, actually.

  • i hate netflix because of this guy

  • how can u buy dvds from them

  • I LOVE Netflix.

  • this video is BULLSHIT DO NOT GET NETFLIX the movies they have on their watch now is utter garbage it takes 2 days to resend back a movie and get another one thats good BUT most of them might be cracked or not working so you send them back and most of the time netflix wont recieve the movie you sent back so you have to wait 7 DAYS to tell netflix that they havent gotten the movie then they send you another one. all in all NETFLIX IS BULLSHIT if you factor all these problems you'll reliaze it suk

  • I dont think the everest guy would take kindly to the netflix guy.

  • Streaming is pretty good in Canada.

  • he's cute

  • @ewaf84..it's illegal..but whose going to find out?

As long as you're very careful about not distributing them.

  • Go netflix!! its the shit!

  • Or perhaps I can just torrent the movies i want.

  • Netflix is by far the best way to watch movies and shows. It's cheap, easy, same monthly price (depending on how many DVDs you want at a time) and I can stop it without worrying about a cancellation fee or a late fee. $10 for theater experience, $5 3 day rentals or $9 for how ever many you can watch in a month. I'm a cheap ass :)

  • @MegaBobo234 You CAN'T stream unlimited movies. You CAN'T rent unlimited movies. Only the new ones by STARS or older movies you find in the bargain bin at Wal-Mart. If you get a scratched disk you have to wait till you send it back & they return 1 to you. You can't trade movies in for new ones like Blockbuster. TV shows are incomplete seasons. Dexter is incomplete. No CHUCK. Movies constantly expire with the streaming service. NONE of this is an issue with Blockbuster. BB employs more people.

  • @texformer I stream all day long if I want. I actually get a comped with 2 movies at once if my disc is scratched or broken. Some shows, like Dexter, I didn't notice were incomplete because I didn't like them. You want special features and extras and dumbshit that only 2 people actually watch, then rent at the store. I just want to see the movie once and not have to pay if it's terrible.

  • @MegaBobo234 no you're a dumbass

  • @8Killerbee Netflix is not perfect. I have had problems upon problems. But the benefits outweigh them 10 fold. Same goes for my job, my internet, my family, etc. I'll be a dumbass if it means I save money and time.

  • @MegaBobo234 What are those benefits exactly? You can use redbox which is much better than netflix.

  • @8Killerbee I apologize for not having the same availability as you do to certain services. If where I lived actually provided such commodities I might take anything better than Netflix into consideration.

  • i love Netflix is the shit man i love it

  • I like redox better.

  • sell out! sell out! Lost my job at Hollywood Video to them.. and redbox... oh well, just adding to the unemployment rate to make Obama look bad, and being broke... There's a positive and negative to everything.

  • i love netflix!!!!!!

  • Last line, "Already sitting on your couch anyway"

...Yep! I'm sitting on my couch in front of my computer desk. :P

Sitting on your ass might have been less PC, but swears are an effective communicator.

  • Last line, "Already sitting on your couch anyway"

...Yep! I'm sitting on my couch in front of my computer desk. :P

  • Right at the end he looks like hugh grant.

  • I still have to go to the mailbox. :(

  • @emenentia Haaa ownage!!! mailbox haaa, sad face haaaaaaa

  • @emenentia streaming netflix. $8.99

  • @emenentia Use it oneline then watch the video to the end before posting as he states this.

  • @maro225599 Not all of the good movies are streamed so you cannot use streaming all the time.

  • @emenentia at least you will lose some calories while running XD

  • @emenentia wow dont you just watch them instantly on ur tv? i do

  • i love it sighned up not too long ago its great!

  • P.S. to any of you loser thinking of copying netflix movies remember all there videos have copy protection, even their standard definition movies,ha ha ha.So don't even think about ripping my company off.I love you netflix and i love you Napster and Rhapsody for all the free millions of songs I can copy.

  • @Keepskatin LOL that DRM is so fucking easy to bypass it's not even funny. You can keep deluding yourself if you wish though.

  • @Sandurz20 the only thing you can copy from netflix is low resolution rca video,or a vga recording device which no one has unless you work in professional video editing. The DRM is very good and you are jealous because you wil never ever copy 1080p,it has the perfect protection to stop bootleggers like yourself.

  • @Keepskatin Not saying I'm a bootlegger at all, I'm just saying it's easy to bypass. I don't really care about the res most of the time (I almost exclusively watch anime, so that means mostly simple animation) Also, there are some pretty useful command scripts on some Linux builds that can record a number of different fps and files. ALSO, you can completely rip the DVDs image and mount that onto a virtual DVD drive. Don't blindly believe in your company sir/ma'am. People will always find a way.

  • quesrtion . why do all of netflix watch instantly movies suck dick. Its fukin 2010. we should be able to watch good movies instantly! fuck u netflix!!

  • Netflix is capitalism at it's greatest. When you combine such new innovations such as average internet connectivity in U.S., average mail recipient in U.S., average U.S. citizen with credit/debit card, you get a fucking dynamo buisness eh? Eat my fucking ballsack you Korean fucks!

  • @Ladiestreat I use to not likesubscription or netflix but they have great tv shows and movies and special you can't get on tv because you missed the episode.8.99 per month is worth it.Also i finally figured out a way to record movies from netflix, lol. It took me 2 days.I'm not telling my secret because copying movies is wrong unless you're smart and not trying to sell or give away the movies. The videos are just for my eyes.

  • Netflix ROCKS. I am a very happy customer. Instant streaming right to my television, what more can you say? Physical Media is dead and I'll be pissing on its grave, we have been overcharged for movie rentals and dvd's for way to long.

Netflix is visionary - I am happy my few bucks are going to a company that is forward thinking. Netflix I salute you. You could give me back all the money I spent this year if I agreed to never sign up again.. I wouldn't take the deal.

  • who is this guy???? hes so cool!!!

  • luv netflix.

  • dumbass u can look at full movies at stagevu dumbshits....

  • i guess, but you have to wait for them to BUFFER!

  • @fediamalysh buffering is your internet speed, not netflix.

  • @Chebangchebang yes, but netflix has better servers that can deliver same quality at no buffer wait, the servers of good quality movies online suck!

  • @fediamalysh I've had no problems with netflix buffering.

  • @Ilikelimpbizkit im talking about the online movies "for free" on the internet have bad buffer

  • Netflix rules all, thanks for helping me cancel my cable :) we have been getting ripped off for so long

  • That was boring. This one keeps your attention and makes people talk about it. Guess what they're talking about. People from a NETFLIX COMMERCIAL. That's right. Netflix.

  • Your free 2 week Netflix membership will begin when you click on "Start Membership" during the registration process. Simply cancel anytime during your 2 week free membership, and you will not be charged. To cancel, click on "Your Account" and follow the simple cancellation instructions .

    NETFLIX IS A SCAM.

THE MOMENT YOU APPLY, YOU ARE ALREADY CHARGED, AND IF YOU CANCEL, THEY WILL NOT REFUND YOU.

  • I"ve always been happy with my Netflix service.

  • I use Netflix, it's so worth it

  • yea, if you want netflix to start repairing you're scratched discs, click my profile and check out my video, then rate it

    (I only have one video)

I don't get how they could be this good and yet not fix my scratched discs

    my games

    cd's

    dvd's

I know they don't just throw there own discs away so just buy a few more machines and make some more money

(I think it should cost like a dollar per disc)

  • wow i just lost a lot of respect for WhatYouOughtToKnow

  • and how much money do you pay them to keep informing you? probably nothing right, so where did you get respect to be handing out or taking back?

  • i dont see money as respect. i respected these guys for saying things as they were, i know they want to make some money but i cant help but seeing them as hypocritical.

  • subliminl messaging

  • @SollexStudios how so?

  • lol watch it a couple of times it will show

  • what dose it mean when you save a video into your Que? cuz i tried getting a movie but it only let me save it instead of add it

  • it saves all your choices to your queue, at the end of the day they take the one that's at the top of your queue list and they mail it to you (at least thats how it is if your plan sends you one at a time). hope that helps.

  • i know that but i tried to add one but it wouldent let me add it it just saved it, its not even part of my queue

  • oh ok, saved means the movie hasn't come out yet or they don't have it yet, once they have it it should go to your queue.

  • thanks

  • Save means one of 2 things, Either its not released yet, or they have to search it and gt the movie for you, however I have a few in my "saved" que, some are old, some are only made for T.V. bu as long as its th ere if it should come out on DVD for rental, they will inform you. I work for netflix and I have a few in saved as well.

  • um. Yes? :P

  • netflix

  • Netflix is one of the 7 wonders of the world

I get 2 dvd's at a time, up to 16 a month if I watch them quick and send them right back, plus there are thousands of movies and tv shows to watch online, for 16 bucks a month, WOW

  • i have that deal too.... I love Netflix they are so friendly!!!!

  • great business idea
