How to Play F Major on Guitar

talk about confusing i have never heard fingering the way you do it...the Low is always the 6th string, A is the 5th string, D is the 4th string, G is the 3rd string, B is the 2nd string and HIGH E is the FIRST string...Sorry but I have never heard your kind of numbering...1-6 starting with high E as # one...Before posting this I checked out a ton just to make sure I wasn't mistaking...

You got it all wrong! It's not the 1st string on the index finger. that's the 6th string.

EVERYBODY TRY THIS: 1st finger on the 5th string of the first fret, 2nd finger on the 6th string of the 1st fret, 3rd finger on the 4th string of the 2nd fret, pinkie on the 3rd string of the 3rd fret. SAME SOUND, maybe even better.. easy to transition to aswell. you are welcome.
