@Ryudenki I like to remind you that vegetarians are just practicing a diet, on the other hand, Vegans don't practice a diet but an ethical ideology derived from a 900 year old tenet, hence they have to be active and divulge the cause. Now the misguided lady on the video has much to learn, countries to travel, and people to meet. Perhaps then, after a cultural awakening, she will be able to make an well informed video about Veganism.

@Ryudenki Founded by an animal rights group in England, with an animal rights agenda as the key factor of this ethical ideology; Veganism has been lost to the limited culture of this western nation. But here is a quote from the man himself, which you won't be able to find online, and can perhaps enlighten you, "Veganism is the praxis of abolishing animal exploitation from our lives, and ending our anthropocentric behavior towards all sentient beings".
@Ryudenki Continue. Now, while you, and many others have indeed highjacked the word Veganism, it still doesn't change its etymology, or what millions of us in the Vegan society know it to be. Although many cultural imports do loose their value once they cross the ocean, in the rest of the World, they still retain their true meaning.
I'd like to remind you that people get emotional and enjoy practicing venting, on the other hand, actors don't practice venting but imitate emotion and speak lines based on a previously written script or subject matter, hence they often look like they are the ones expressing those feelings. Of course I'm just being silly and snarky, I get what you mean about it. The original ranter likely does have a lot to learn as she has already made some mistakes and gotten heated over the topic.
My sister's favourite meal is steak so, when there's a family get together, she books a steak house. (As if other 'moderate' restaurants don't provide it). Then I get a totally shit meal and the members of the family that only see me a parties think I eat that kind of shite all the time.
@ProjectRANT Wait... a headshot? I saw the previous post about the people making out on the bus. Did you see that guy's headshot before you posted his video? if so, the ol' "send a headshot" is kinda moot unless you're looking for people that only have one head because of the rash of pictures you got from people with 2 heads.
It's the vegans who make a scene when you eat a steak in front of them that gives chicks like this a bad name, and make people so damn paranoid. She needs to be the one to chill. She sounds like she is the one who has a problem with her "lifestyle"...
Normally I would say something useful here, however since there is this great debate going on I should just add a Fake & Gay comment to get us back on track.
This woman thinks Veganism is a diet. And yes she's a hypocrite if she smokes. She wouldn't know the meaning of Veganism if it hit her in the head with a giant carrot. These are the so called people on plant based diet that think they're Vegans. So misguided.
@ProjectRANT The fact remains that millions of primates, cats, dogs, and other sentient beings are forced to inhale tobacco smoke so this unaware ranter can have her smoke.
@truth2748 We just make a goofy show and post it on YouTube, and we shouldn't really be taken this seriously.
I was up at 5am with my daughter getting her ready for the day and trying to make it out the door on time, but snap, my car is covered with ice. So I think I'm pretty in touch with reality, maybe just not yours.
@charmedmagic92 For the correct definition of Vegan, look into the Vegan society and the founder of Veganism. This explanation is simply wrong. Not all the answers are found on you little dictionary. Dictionaries can't teach culture.
@charmedmagic92 If Veganism was a diet, then you would be allowed to use animal products, wouldn't you. Veganism is the praxis of an ethical principal.
@truth2748 Just because she doesn't eat animal products doesn't mean she gives a shit about animals. She says that in the very beginning. My best friend can't digest animal products, so he has to eat vegan, but he doesn't care about animal cruelty.
@Qt4life6179 Because in the very beginning of the video she claims to be a Vegan, and then short after she refutes Veganism with every word that comes out of her mouth, did you not watch the entire video?. Curios, do you even know what veganism is?
@truth2748 Yes I know what veganism is. I am a vegetarian, and I obviously know there is a difference. But to me she wasn't saying she was being a vegan for a diet. Just cause someone does not like ALL animals does not mean they don't respect them. I was asking why the smoking made her a hypocrite cause I was curious if there was some ingredient in cigarettes or something. And I agree that there is a mentality that must go along with being a vegan, but you don't need to be so condescending.
@Qt4life6179 Philip Morris spent 5 million last year alone on vivisection. Labs all around the country spend millions to addict primates to nicotine, so smokers can smoke. Even though the FDA does no longer condone it. This is common knowledge amongst Vegans. There is no mentality to Veganism, there is Veganism, and there is the Western fad called Veganism, which is what most Americans practice.
@truth2748 See you could have just said that before. Thank you for the answer. And by mentality I meant, respecting and caring for animals, and not just doing it as a diet. And that is not true. Every vegan I happen to know is incredibly dedicated to animal rights and treating them with respect.
@Qt4life6179 Well those Vegans are not the norm, in the US, if you ask any Vegan if they can explain what Veganism is, they usually respond with, "someone who doesn't eat meat or animal by-products". Again, not a clue. The point I was trying to make is, that the lady in he video is no Vegan.
@truth2748 Where are you from? And I understand you are dedicated to your cause, but you still did not have to act like that towards me for asking a simple question. When you are trying to make your cause, or way of life, well known, and someone asks you about it, responding that way is not going to help your case. I am sorry if I offended you by asking, but I was trying my best to be polite and I only ask that you extend the same courtesy to me.
@truth2748 Your wording just made it sound like you assumed I was ignorant before giving me a chance. But that happens when people get frustrated. I am just curious where you are from cause you keep discussing veganism in the US in particular
@Qt4life6179 I currently live in the US. I also lived in India for many years, England, and other European countries, as well as South America, so I consider myself an earthling. Having traveled around the World I have witnessed the AR movement take different shapes and forms, and the one in the US is pathetic to say the least.
@truth2748 Mmk that is cool to have been to so many places. And I am sorry you have not met as many people dedicated to animal rights in the US. but to be fair, the US has never been a great source of compassion in general.
@Qt4life6179 You misunderstood-I have met many in the US that are passionate about AR, however they don't seem to agree on anything nor they have a plan, nor they do much about it. Unlike in England or even Mexico's well established ALF, and other above ground activist. In the US there are only a few groups that really make a difference, most Vegans just spend time talking about what they eat.
@truth2748 Haha I still stand by my statement. There is a mentality in America to be more self absorbed mentality amongst the citizens. It is why we are like 5% of the world population and use like 40% of the resources, or something like that. They just talk about what they eat cause they think everyone cares a lot more than they do
@truth2748 I mean, I can understand not everyone can be vegan, or vegetarian, or all that. But it would not hurt companies to at least treat the animals they slaughter with more respect. Such as better living conditions, no hormones, killed the kosher was which is much more humane. These little things make a difference. But no one cares enough to bother enforcing such rules in their factories and what not cause it takes effort, and a little more money. It is sad really
@Qt4life6179 Now you're wrong about Kosher processing plants-they perpetrate some of the worst forms of animal cruelty, and they are the most unsafe, getting meat recalls on a regular basis, and fines galore. You should watch the film Earthlings and see for yourself. You can find it in parts on youtube, but its best to get the DVD if you can.
@truth2748 Kosher plants maybe. but the actually kosher way of killing animals, is that they break the neck so it can't feel pain, and then in one swift motion they kill it with a sharp knife, its not allowed to be dull, and they are supposed to keep their animals clean and what not. it is part of the jewish religion to be more repsectful to animals. if kosher plants are being cruel, they are not being true to their faith
@truth2748 Mmk, I read about kosher places. And they technically are not being kosher cause they are sloppy with the way they do it to speed production. And that makes it not qualify as kosher. But if they actually kept by the rules, it would be much less cruel. And that is a shame.
@truth2748 No. She's NOT a hypocrite UNLESS there are animal ingredients in the cigarettes or the brand tests on animals. A few don't.
I totally agree that there are a lot of people on a plant-based diet who call themselves vegan. I am 'proper' vegan. No animal ingredients at all, no animal testing on ANYTHING I purchase, I don't smoke either.
@marcluc1988 Your diet has absolutely nothing to do with Veganism, unless you too are confused, and practice something new called Western Veganism, "the fad". Of course cigarettes contain animal by-products, this is common knowledge, but even if they didn't, they're still not Vegan, as they were all tested on animals at one point or another. This was mandated by the FDA in 1982 and is also common knowledge.
@truth2748 Your diet IS part of veganism. You can't just eat anything like eggs, beef and still be called vegan. What you eat IS part of veganism.
Not everyone in the world is in the US so the FDA rules are irrelevant to us. I don't live under FDA rules so, to me it's not common knowledge and has nothing to do with my life.
Why do so many US citizens not realise that the USA is not the only nation on Earth?
@truth2748 "Veganism is a way of living that seeks to exclude, as far as possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing and any other purpose." NOT THE WORD FOOD = Diet!
@marcluc1988 Okay so you did a quick copy and paste. Donald Watson the man who founded and coined the word Vegan, whom I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing before his death said, "Veganism is the praxis of abolishing animal exploitation from our lives". He arrived at this conclusion after studying/living among the Jain for over 15 years. This information you won't find on line, nor is really shared by todays Vegans.
@marcluc1988 Really me too!. I wrote two articles for the Donald Watson house, what a small world. I'm surprised you don't know that cigarettes use animal by-products and almost 99.9% of then, including in Europe were at one point or another tested on animals.
@truth2748 I did know but since I don't smoke, it's not top of my prority list but I've heard that there's a brand in Australia that doesn't test on animals. Whether this includes animal ingredients, I don't know but, according to The Animal Free Shopper, there are no vegan brands in the UK.
I've not had any articles published in the Vegan but I had one in the Vegetarian this issue.
I'd ask you what name you publish under but I don't think it's wise to give out real names on YouTube.
@marcluc1988 Unfortunately I have made some enemies on YT due the quality of its membership, so I can't divulge any detailed information. But I can tell you that article was based on my B12 study/report, which was also complemented in Doctor Campbell's China study. I've also changed many hearts(some very tough omnivores) with science, and educated many on the true meaning of Veganism.
@marcluc1988 Continue. I can tell you that your diet is not part of Veganism but only a consequence of it. And it is secondary to everything they do. When asked, what is a Vegan?, the most common and ordinary answer is someone who doesn't eat meat, et cetera, et cetera. But this is very misleading and indicative of a life style based on a diet, which is not. Veganism is a World movement created by the animal rights community. And unfortunately used as a fad for many western countries.
@marcluc1988 I like to add that there is only one company in the US. that doesn't test on animals, and it is Nat Sherman. So unless she smokes these, she's no Vegan and a hypocrite.
Actually cigarettes are not vegan. They're tested on animals. Veganism is not JUST FOOD as the video states, it's a lifestyle choice that does not include using animals for anything. I could rant about people on "vegan diets" but meh, they just don't get it.
Isn't it usually the other way around? It's always the vegetarians and vegans always bringing this crap up. So you don' t like good food? I don't care, leave me alone.
The person who wrote this may have felt that way, but every vegan, vegitarian, health-nut ive ever met loves to shove their diet in my face EVERY chance they get.
This one is by far the best one I have watched because I get this all the time. When you say vegetarian people start wondering if you are okay with them eating meat in front of you. I DON'T CARE!
This is one of the few rants that I can really relate to. =] Keep it up!
@ZioHalofan Someone who minimizes the use of animals/ animal products in their food and life, so no meat, no fish, no eggs, no dairy, but also no leather, no cosmetics tested on animals, etc.
@Nephtys80 Oh wow. Just scrolled down and saw your comment about cosmetics. >.< There are different levels of vegans, right. There are some that don't eat meat. Then you have others that won't eat meat but will eat products from animals like eggs or cheese.
I know its terrible to admit it, but this particular Rant sent m into default mode when listening to an actual Vegan or a vegetarian. . . I glazed over and just watched her chest.
THANK YOU! I'm not a vegan, but a vegetarian, and I'm sick being treated like a hippie. It's like, my guy-friends always want to take me to chick-flicks. I'm not a chicken, but a girl, SAME SPECIES AS YOU and I enjoy action movies just the same. Just like I'm a vegetarian and I enjoy eating out, and eating un-healthy stuff that tastes good! I'm not a health freak, a hypocrite, a hippie, a freak, or a chicken! -Rant over- XD Wow, it's easy to rant after watching this.
@ProjectRANT You lady are no Vegan. In order to be Vegan you must understand what Veganism is. You just highjacked an ancient philosophy to satisfy your faddist empty life. A smoker Vegan, ridiculous.
@ProjectRANT Veganism: The praxis of abolishing animal exploitation and speciesism from our lives. Now that you know, go be a Vegan, and don't embarrass yourself.
@truth2748 You realise Project Rant is just a show right? They take rants from the internet and turn them into these awesome videos. Hence all the other videos unrelated to this one. Go watch the others, they're funny.
@RichardForkins I don't take my 40 year endeavor to educate the misguided lightly. With so much misinformation about Veganism and nutrition out there, it doesn't help when people "rant" about something they know nothing about, funny... ridiculous.
@truth2748 Fine, that's your opinion. But I will just say that uptight vegans, such as yourself, are also giving us a bad name. I have been called uptight, bitchy, fanatic, all sorts of different things, and it's people like you - who can't take a joke - who are to blame for that. The mere mention of being vegan causes all kinds of controversy, and it shouldn't, but people like you make it that way. If we could all just lighten up things would be much better. End of conversation for me.
@RichardForkins Now it is you who needs to lighten up. I know I represent Veganism as I am a standing member and writer for the Vegan society for now over a decade. I practice Veganism and teach the misguided such as yourself its true meaning. I do realize that Americans have highjacked not only the word, but its true principals, and it is an uphill battle to prove to all that Veganism is not just a fad. I don't care that its not cool to be Vegan as I'm not trying to fit it nor convince anyone.
@RichardForkins "Veganism is not a diet, but a set of principals, a philosophy if you will. The food choices are just a trait of Veganism. Veganism is the praxis of abolishing animal suffering and exploitation from our lives, it is an ethical choice which affects our moral standing in society, our health, and our environment. It is also a way of reversing our anthropocentric behavior" D. Watson.
As a vegetarian, it actually is quite difficult to eat out where I live. It's also very difficult to buy packaged foods because so many of them have hidden ingredients, such as E471 (In most types of bread), which is a fatty acid, usually derrived from animals, but sometimes derrived from vegetable sources. :-/
Well, vegans are better people. Duh. We don't murder people, i.e. animals, so ipso facto, we're better than Hitler, so that's a definite moral step up the evolutionary ladder, yeah?

Did you see that guy's headshot before you posted his video? if so, the ol' "send a headshot" is kinda moot unless you're looking for people that only have one head because of the rash of pictures you got from people with 2 heads.
Wait.... this could be MY rant? Yea?

It's the vegans who make a scene when you eat a steak in front of them that gives chicks like this a bad name, and make people so damn paranoid. She needs to be the one to chill. She sounds like she is the one who has a problem with her "lifestyle"...

This woman thinks Veganism is a diet. And yes she's a hypocrite if she smokes. She wouldn't know the meaning of Veganism if it hit her in the head with a giant carrot. These are the so called people on plant based diet that think they're Vegans. So misguided.

@truth2748 vegan |ˈvēgən; ˈvejən|
noun
a person who does not eat or use animal products : ex. I'm a strict vegan | [as adj. ] a vegan diet.
charmedmagic92 1 year ago
@charmedmagic92 For the correct definition of Vegan, look into the Vegan society and the founder of Veganism. This explanation is simply wrong. Not all the answers are found on you little dictionary. Dictionaries can't teach culture.
truth2748 1 year ago
@charmedmagic92 If Veganism was a diet, then you would be allowed to use animal products, wouldn't you. Veganism is the praxis of an ethical principal.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 Just because she doesn't eat animal products doesn't mean she gives a shit about animals. She says that in the very beginning. My best friend can't digest animal products, so he has to eat vegan, but he doesn't care about animal cruelty.
life4sorrows1893 1 year ago
@truth2748 Why does it make her a hypocrite? I am confused. Please explain?
Qt4life6179 1 year ago
@Qt4life6179 Because in the very beginning of the video she claims to be a Vegan, and then short after she refutes Veganism with every word that comes out of her mouth, did you not watch the entire video?. Curios, do you even know what veganism is?
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 Yes I know what veganism is. I am a vegetarian, and I obviously know there is a difference. But to me she wasn't saying she was being a vegan for a diet. Just cause someone does not like ALL animals does not mean they don't respect them. I was asking why the smoking made her a hypocrite cause I was curious if there was some ingredient in cigarettes or something. And I agree that there is a mentality that must go along with being a vegan, but you don't need to be so condescending.
Qt4life6179 1 year ago
@Qt4life6179 Philip Morris spent 5 million last year alone on vivisection. Labs all around the country spend millions to addict primates to nicotine, so smokers can smoke. Even though the FDA does no longer condone it. This is common knowledge amongst Vegans. There is no mentality to Veganism, there is Veganism, and there is the Western fad called Veganism, which is what most Americans practice.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 See you could have just said that before. Thank you for the answer. And by mentality I meant, respecting and caring for animals, and not just doing it as a diet. And that is not true. Every vegan I happen to know is incredibly dedicated to animal rights and treating them with respect.
Qt4life6179 1 year ago
@Qt4life6179 Well those Vegans are not the norm, in the US, if you ask any Vegan if they can explain what Veganism is, they usually respond with, "someone who doesn't eat meat or animal by-products". Again, not a clue. The point I was trying to make is, that the lady in he video is no Vegan.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 Where are you from? And I understand you are dedicated to your cause, but you still did not have to act like that towards me for asking a simple question. When you are trying to make your cause, or way of life, well known, and someone asks you about it, responding that way is not going to help your case. I am sorry if I offended you by asking, but I was trying my best to be polite and I only ask that you extend the same courtesy to me.
Qt4life6179 1 year ago
@Qt4life6179 I did not mean to offend you, nor I know how I offended you. Why does it matter where I'm from?.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 Your wording just made it sound like you assumed I was ignorant before giving me a chance. But that happens when people get frustrated. I am just curious where you are from cause you keep discussing veganism in the US in particular
Qt4life6179 1 year ago
@Qt4life6179 I currently live in the US. I also lived in India for many years, England, and other European countries, as well as South America, so I consider myself an earthling. Having traveled around the World I have witnessed the AR movement take different shapes and forms, and the one in the US is pathetic to say the least.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 Mmk that is cool to have been to so many places. And I am sorry you have not met as many people dedicated to animal rights in the US. but to be fair, the US has never been a great source of compassion in general.
Qt4life6179 1 year ago
@Qt4life6179 You misunderstood-I have met many in the US that are passionate about AR, however they don't seem to agree on anything nor they have a plan, nor they do much about it. Unlike in England or even Mexico's well established ALF, and other above ground activist. In the US there are only a few groups that really make a difference, most Vegans just spend time talking about what they eat.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 Haha I still stand by my statement. There is a mentality in America to be more self absorbed mentality amongst the citizens. It is why we are like 5% of the world population and use like 40% of the resources, or something like that. They just talk about what they eat cause they think everyone cares a lot more than they do
Qt4life6179 1 year ago
@Qt4life6179 You are probably right.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 I mean, I can understand not everyone can be vegan, or vegetarian, or all that. But it would not hurt companies to at least treat the animals they slaughter with more respect. Such as better living conditions, no hormones, killed the kosher was which is much more humane. These little things make a difference. But no one cares enough to bother enforcing such rules in their factories and what not cause it takes effort, and a little more money. It is sad really
Qt4life6179 1 year ago
@Qt4life6179 Now you're wrong about Kosher processing plants-they perpetrate some of the worst forms of animal cruelty, and they are the most unsafe, getting meat recalls on a regular basis, and fines galore. You should watch the film Earthlings and see for yourself. You can find it in parts on youtube, but its best to get the DVD if you can.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 Kosher plants maybe. but the actually kosher way of killing animals, is that they break the neck so it can't feel pain, and then in one swift motion they kill it with a sharp knife, its not allowed to be dull, and they are supposed to keep their animals clean and what not. it is part of the jewish religion to be more repsectful to animals. if kosher plants are being cruel, they are not being true to their faith
Qt4life6179 1 year ago
@truth2748 Mmk, I read about kosher places. And they technically are not being kosher cause they are sloppy with the way they do it to speed production. And that makes it not qualify as kosher. But if they actually kept by the rules, it would be much less cruel. And that is a shame.
Qt4life6179 1 year ago
@truth2748 No. She's NOT a hypocrite UNLESS there are animal ingredients in the cigarettes or the brand tests on animals. A few don't.
I totally agree that there are a lot of people on a plant-based diet who call themselves vegan. I am 'proper' vegan. No animal ingredients at all, no animal testing on ANYTHING I purchase, I don't smoke either.
marcluc1988 1 year ago
@marcluc1988 Your diet has absolutely nothing to do with Veganism, unless you too are confused, and practice something new called Western Veganism, "the fad". Of course cigarettes contain animal by-products, this is common knowledge, but even if they didn't, they're still not Vegan, as they were all tested on animals at one point or another. This was mandated by the FDA in 1982 and is also common knowledge.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 Your diet IS part of veganism. You can't just eat anything like eggs, beef and still be called vegan. What you eat IS part of veganism.
Not everyone in the world is in the US so the FDA rules are irrelevant to us. I don't live under FDA rules so, to me it's not common knowledge and has nothing to do with my life.
Why do so many US citizens not realise that the USA is not the only nation on Earth?
marcluc1988 1 year ago
@marcluc1988 Okay, I also don't live in the US, but assume this since most ignorant comments come from there. Do your research before you comment.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 And what about what I said about diet being PART of veganism. It's certainly not the WHOLE of veganism.
marcluc1988 1 year ago

truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 "Veganism is a way of living that seeks to exclude, as far as possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing and any other purpose." NOT THE WORD FOOD = Diet!
marcluc1988 1 year ago
@marcluc1988 Okay so you did a quick copy and paste. Donald Watson the man who founded and coined the word Vegan, whom I had the pleasure of meeting and knowing before his death said, "Veganism is the praxis of abolishing animal exploitation from our lives". He arrived at this conclusion after studying/living among the Jain for over 15 years. This information you won't find on line, nor is really shared by todays Vegans.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 I see you've done a quote as well. And no, I didn't do a copy and paste. I work for The Vegan Society and know that definition by heart.
marcluc1988 1 year ago
@marcluc1988 Really me too!. I wrote two articles for the Donald Watson house, what a small world. I'm surprised you don't know that cigarettes use animal by-products and almost 99.9% of then, including in Europe were at one point or another tested on animals.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 I did know but since I don't smoke, it's not top of my prority list but I've heard that there's a brand in Australia that doesn't test on animals. Whether this includes animal ingredients, I don't know but, according to The Animal Free Shopper, there are no vegan brands in the UK.
I've not had any articles published in the Vegan but I had one in the Vegetarian this issue.
I'd ask you what name you publish under but I don't think it's wise to give out real names on YouTube.
marcluc1988 1 year ago
@marcluc1988 Unfortunately I have made some enemies on YT due the quality of its membership, so I can't divulge any detailed information. But I can tell you that article was based on my B12 study/report, which was also complemented in Doctor Campbell's China study. I've also changed many hearts(some very tough omnivores) with science, and educated many on the true meaning of Veganism.
truth2748 1 year ago
@marcluc1988 "I did know but since I don't smoke". So if you did know, you do realize that she is indeed a hypocrite.
truth2748 1 year ago
@marcluc1988 Continue. I can tell you that your diet is not part of Veganism but only a consequence of it. And it is secondary to everything they do. When asked, what is a Vegan?, the most common and ordinary answer is someone who doesn't eat meat, et cetera, et cetera. But this is very misleading and indicative of a life style based on a diet, which is not. Veganism is a World movement created by the animal rights community. And unfortunately used as a fad for many western countries.
truth2748 1 year ago
@marcluc1988 Again, Veganism has nothing to do with your diet or dieting. Do yo even know what Veganism is, and can you describe it in one sentence?.
truth2748 1 year ago
@marcluc1988 I like to add that there is only one company in the US. that doesn't test on animals, and it is Nat Sherman. So unless she smokes these, she's no Vegan and a hypocrite.

Hippies believe in good rock 'n roll, smoking the herb and having sex with anyone, anywhere, anytime. In otherwords, a generally awesome lifestyle.

@RichardForkins I don't take my 40 year endeavor to educate the misguided lightly. With so much misinformation about Veganism and nutrition out there, it doesn't help when people "rant" about something they know nothing about, funny... ridiculous.

@truth2748 Lighten up, jeez. The video is funny, and as a vegan myself I can relate to it.
RichardForkins 1 year ago
@RichardForkins Nope, not funny at all. A complete cliche of what most Americans believe to be Veganism, totally.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 Fine, that's your opinion. But I will just say that uptight vegans, such as yourself, are also giving us a bad name. I have been called uptight, bitchy, fanatic, all sorts of different things, and it's people like you - who can't take a joke - who are to blame for that. The mere mention of being vegan causes all kinds of controversy, and it shouldn't, but people like you make it that way. If we could all just lighten up things would be much better. End of conversation for me.
RichardForkins 1 year ago
@RichardForkins Now it is you who needs to lighten up. I know I represent Veganism as I am a standing member and writer for the Vegan society for now over a decade. I practice Veganism and teach the misguided such as yourself its true meaning. I do realize that Americans have highjacked not only the word, but its true principals, and it is an uphill battle to prove to all that Veganism is not just a fad. I don't care that its not cool to be Vegan as I'm not trying to fit it nor convince anyone.
truth2748 1 year ago
@RichardForkins Continue. However, I will continue to educate and divulge its true meaning as it was the wish of the founding father and friend.
truth2748 1 year ago
@truth2748 So that you're not longer confused about Veganism, here is a quick explanation as written by the founding father himself.
truth2748 1 year ago
@RichardForkins "Veganism is not a diet, but a set of principals, a philosophy if you will. The food choices are just a trait of Veganism. Veganism is the praxis of abolishing animal suffering and exploitation from our lives, it is an ethical choice which affects our moral standing in society, our health, and our environment. It is also a way of reversing our anthropocentric behavior" D. Watson.
