I think if security guards are to be scrutinized on their backgrounds then they should be respected and paid appropriately. Security guards as mentioned in this clip protect 80-85% of our nation's infrastructure , this is clearly higher than law enforcements role. However, the only sides that are coming out on top for this effort is the country and the companies that get millions for their contracts. Why don't congress have hearings over the guards welfare, to get a fair share of the contract$
