@shammyay however, guts negates that cut to your attack stat when burnt. flame orb is best used on a guts pokemon you intend to keep in play for a longer amount of time, as the total amount of damage you take is much less than with a toxic orb. if you plan to hit and run (like with u-turn or something) then toxic orb is the better option.
