The first time i heard this song i cried to see how people are persecuted to serve the Lord, and we are free in America we don't serve Him.

It's unfortunate, but people usually find God in troubled times, rather than the good.

That's one of the smaller reasons why the "God lets bad things happen" argument with examples of wars and famines as examples doesn't work. The people who actually experience the war or famine are statistically more likely to find God, than those who speak up for them.

Are there any bible verses that've helped you? My brother is in prison, and he has bad drug addictions. I'd like to show him something that he can look at that'll help him, because he can't get CDs or anything. He accepted God as his Saviour when he was little, but has grown out of touch. He isn't ready to give himself over fully to a higher power, that may or [may not] be there. But he still is praying and asking for God to help him. Anyway, thanks. It'd mean a lot.
