Hey so i just started parkour and im 13 and i pretty much have done like no conditioning. so if i want to become good at parkour i should definetly do some condition right?
Yes. Nearly everything you see on youtube and everything you have seen on movies has only been achieved through conditioning. Without conditioning your body WILL fall apart within your first year of parkour. So just get down on the floor and do pressups, do some squats, calf and toe raises etc. There's loads to do.
hey, do you do pk with people or just by yourself? and im only 16 and just started being interested in pk, but im scared that its gonna take forever to get good and over fear of stuff, what type of stuff did you do everday to get as good as you are? thx alot! =)
Really pretty much the only thing that you need much courage to do are flips, building-to-building jumps and stuff like that, because in all other moves you can start small/slow and work your way up slowly.
It's not like I'm any parkour pro (I'm new to parkour too) but I know that.
Just learned how to roll today, but I still suck at it too.
If you're in good condition, you can get different parkour techniques down pretty fast, but if you're not, you need to train your muscles too.
Hey I was just wondering about something. When I condition should I take a rest day then condition after or is it ok to condition every day if i have been conditioning a while?
Any trips on how to do the muscle ups? I can use my momentum easily to pull-up and get my elbow level with the bar, but the transition from that to dips gets me. Is it just practice or should I just strengthen my brachialis more?
It is practice, but you can also start by doing one arm at the time until you gain the strength to get both at the same time. Thats how most people start.
conditioning is the main priority, you can do some of the workouts on my vids, definitely work on your upper body strength then start moving onto some techniques progressively.
dude. that facility is insane!!! tell me the next time u go. can i go with and does it cost anything to use their facility? what did u wrap around ur hands towards the end?

It is really up to you and how your body feels, I condition pretty much every day unless I am too sore.

skaterpunks305 3 years ago
there is always some where where you can go and practice, a park, parking lot, stair cases, your own home. You just gotta develop your vision.
BTW there is no such thing as parkouring 8)
