  • The first reminds me of my old place. I lived next to the tracks for 10 years. It got where i couldn't go to sleep until i heard it go by. After i moved out i couldn't sleep. It was to quiet. LOL

I've lived in much worse places. Needs work but liveable. This never showed up on my sub thing.

  • @hellavadeal It wasn't the trains going buy, it was the 4 crossings they blew their horns for that got to me. My new place has tracks 100yds away, but not crossings, so it's not a problem. I also lived on a street in B'ham that every!! ambulance, cop car, fire dept used constantly and I learned to sleep through that also. Amazing what the mind can filter. The shack had massive amounts of mold underneath and in the walls, and likely in the attic as well. Thanks for stopping by.

  • rental I hope !! also in NW AR myself ..well the sloped roof/floor so close to a water ramp area makes me wonder about high water when the heavy rain seasons hit.may be why all the unlevel floors, stuck doors- humidifier means a bad mold trouble inside .Skeeters from hell most likely too..learn our local posion bugs/snakes,,we do have most of them found across the USA and use a walking stix to poke around and flip over stuff before ya reach a hand out..go slow and noisy to let wildlife leave 1st.

  • @wizardangel oh yea, rental!!! but not anymore. just moved to a tiny, but warm apt. was there during record breaking rains last year...no problem w/the lake as I was well above it. Did have major washouts coming down the hill on the backside, making many

mini-waterfalls. the foundation was of rocks...7 fell out during the earthquake in OK..freaked me OUT!

I grew up in FL, so well aware of snakes, except for the copperheads, which I haven't seen yet. (Knock on

    wood!)

  • @fatpius Yes, it was full of mold!!! Have taken up carrying a walking stick here. Where are you in NW AR?

  • catching up... :-)

  • Home Sweet Home My Ass!! More like a hole in HELL!!! .... Sweat box in the summer and a pneumonia whole in the winter. Thank Goodness I didn't have to come up there with my tools and scrape your frozen butt off the floor, I'd been cussing your dead ass. Love U 2 Honey :)

  • @scallopwaters LMAO

  • the plug doesn't work...for the bed....Did you try using a plastic baggy then screwing the cap on/in??

    ...bigc028

  • @IronRangeSurvival the original 'plug' was missing when i salvaged this. i used a marine plug that has threads w/rubber and screwed it as tight as possible.

it's supposed to seal boats. could be another leak i haven't found.
