i have the silver version but can`t remove the slide .the instructions says you can ..its the same gun and the mags sieze up after a couple of goes have modified the mags to make them more loose ..nice to hold but its shit sorry maybe mine is an early version oh well

yeah its brill you should find the problem with it is you can't put it down! everytime i tell my dad and sis i'm going shooting for a little while, they know i'm going for at least two hours! and 500 FPS is only with certain types of pellets but i don't know what type(unfortunately!) mine is slightly broken at the moment but thats because of me being abit of a d*&khead with it, not it being rubbish(just don't try pulling the slide back repeatedly to turn the mag round, it don't work!)

yes, a lot of people are having trouble with this gun and half of it is people not understanding how to use it properly. it is a gun that you NEED to gain expirience with. then they are a great air pistol. please don't give up on them that easily!

the prometheus ammo do they fit perfectlly in this gun? have you had any bbs jam the gun or fallen out the slots yet? i was reading about the anics skif 3000 f1 lb on the anics website and the gun i just mentioned has a mock silencer fitted which is an actual extended barrel. The velocity increases greatly with all types of ammo you allready mentioned 550fps wow!

you say its not exactly the powerful pistol but it is the only one which holds 28 bbs or pellets with a vast fps rate. its good to know that it can fire those prometheus pellets. Do the bbs fire ok?

unfortunately i have not tried bb's yet as the only gunshop around me that sells them is banbury gunshop and i always leave there so angry that i always leave without asking for any of them (i leave angry because of their customer service. unless you are after a mossberg 500, then they do nothing short of ignoring you!)

That gun looks awsome... 5* anyway i have a question... I looked into the gun and it told me it had the velocity of 390-550? How do you get the different velocities? and what do you think the average velocity is on that?

pellets have different weights. the lighter the pellet, the higher the velocity. i can use BSA storm pellets in my .22 gamo CFX and dent 5mm of sheet lead at 45 yds, but when i use the lighter promitheus pellets then at the same range they go straight through and embed themselves in a wooden backdrop (i've nicknamed these pellets AP pellets as they go through anything!). but because they are so light, it makes them unstable in flight and so you can miss the target (and they are expensive!)

unfortunately not. it is co2 only, which makes it quite expensive. what i do is bulk buy co2 cartridges on ebay, cutting the price down a bit.
