This movie was so far different that other westerns of the time that it stands alone. This title song is ,in my opinion, the best western song of any movie ever.

Never gonna forget my father telling me about his youth: sitting in the cinema watching John Wayne on the screen, dressed up in a cowboy costume, and with a girl in the one arm (well that was his teen years) :D

Burt Kennedy was such a good director and John Wayne was a stand up guy who always employed his friends for better or worse in all of his movies! what a guy!
