To the people saying it was a private server, l2p. I uploaded this video in 2006 and skirmish arenas were available a few weeks before TBC. My raiding guild was Relentless on The Maelstrom and we had everything up to 4h in Naxx on farm status.

Private server, since u look like full T3 Naxxramas old skool gear back at lvl 60. Arenas were lvl 70, you might be having T3 untill 70 but, with that kind of interface i dont think its a real server...So, what to do? Buy real wow and play nicely in arenas, private servers are full of bugz, you put your time in it, you earn some stuff, then one day the server will be down and your lost your time ...Anyway, wow is a loss of time, do like me, quit it for good, unless vanilla comes back ^^

i remember something like this happened but i was in arena but not the runing i just was w8ing and it said i was still in blade edge arena even tho i wasn't in there and all the mobs and npcs were gone and i was on my 26 pally so i ran 2 horde town took a screen shot and when i reloged i was back in SW :O

This has happened to me before... in Karazan. I had to reboot the game. Im not sure exactly what it is, but my best guess is it is your computer. The reason i draw this conclusion is that after i rebooted the game, it was working fine again. Since then, however, i have not expirenced this.
if you loose raiting gm cannot do anything about it... i had bug once and when i whispered to GM he just said "Blizzard cannot do anything about the raiting,can i help with any other thingy?
Blizz wouldent be able to do anything about it. And, it is probably a live server. If you look at the Night Elf, he has a PvP rank that has been discontinued. If this were on a private, or non-blizzard server, the same rules would apply.

I think thats a rollback, have happened to me,
probably something with the server, i ran around with no mobs for an hour, got dc'ed and then i was back where i last saw mobs =p
