I was going to write something about your response being typical of someone who listens to whatever the scientific establishment says. But then I realized you probably aren't all that educated on that either, you just curse at people who are smarter than you.

According to Neal once the wasnt just one continent rounded by a sea, but the old continents were the only surface of the globe.´The three-dimentional expanding has torn apart the continents from each other. Neal doesn´t talk about accelerated expanding, so his theory needs gravitation.

According to my theory there is no observable expanding if there is not enough variation of the pressure.

Once for example a supernova explosion that happened nearby the globe brought an energywave dence enough towards the globe. The energic energybudles of this wave pushed themselves through the atomcores of the

globe deep inside the globe (for example up to ten kilometres).

These energybudles cleaned with them energywaves coming from the atomcores. The expanding atoms of the globe that located outside this area, pushed the atomcores of that area closer to each other. At the same time the expanding atomcores of that area expanded close to each other like in cold fusion. This is how heavier substaces originate and in this case I mean the shelf.

Just so it's clear, Neil doesn't say the Earth is expanding due to some sort of process that can cause an increase in volume, say a phase change or even by simple thermal expansion. He became visibly agitated when this was posited to him as a mechanism for his idea. Instead, he asserts the Earth is getting bigger because entirely *new* matter is being generated within our planet. That somewhat dubious assertion is entirely testable, Earth's mass should increase over time. It does not.

And how would you know it does not? Did you perform the measurement? What is your source. That is an assertion being made, even for one who is out in the field trying to measure it. Because such a growth would not even be detectable for decades. The growth Neal says that the whole universe including your moon is undergoing is by micro increments. Even if U were in the field your assertion is too early. Such a measurement would be a global enterprise.

Ha, you got me there. Earth is actually gaining an insignificantly small amount of material compared to it's mass each day from the infall of space dust (ever seen a meteor)? However it would take roughly a 10 km asteroid falling every day for 4.5 billion years to get to Neal's growth rate from that. Also, a basic look at F=Gm1m2/r^2 tells you that if the Earth were to change mass, then it should also be changing it's orbital radius around the Sun. That'd make our climate pretty unstable!

Well, that sound like Neal may use that as support I think. If F=Gm1m2/r^2 tells us Earth mass effects climate change by orbital status, then what's going on in the world matches that formula and Neals talk. Have U lookt at the Earths weather lately? I don't think that Neal is 100% right. But he's definatley in the correct direction. If the truth were North, while pangea/subduction were South, Neal is NorthWest or at least WEST. He definatley got off South.

Please look up "regression and transgression" in a basic geology textbook, in fact, please read the whole book before accepting Neal's ideas and decide for yourself after arming yourself with knowledge rather than taking his word for it (or mine). I recommend "Evolution of the Earth" by Prothero and Dott. The rock record reveals Earth has gone through warming and cooling periods in the past multiple times (with varying severity, and without an anthropogenic contribution).

Get outta here, I've been thru Geology thru Highschool, college, plus via two siblings, and a nephew. But I caught yer point on the Earth cooling and warming thru several periods, and this is what I mean to coorelating to the orbital changes via Earth growth. Further, I am not "taking Adams word for it" as U put it. I am taking the reasoning and logic being submitted. If it were Michael Jordan stating these thoughts I would be taking them due to the unignorable LOGIC. The REASONING.

Good, now we can talk evidence against Neal:

1) There are oceanic rocks found in continental strata older than those in ocean basins see ophiolite.

2) Subduction zones are real, e.g. Benioff zones and seismic tomography for starters.

3) Suture zones: yes, the continents do fit back together, but in more ways than one (see Pangaea, Rondinia, Pannotia).

4) Planetary geology - why don't Mars, Venus, Mercury, and moons have expansion signs?

5) Low mass planets lose their atmospheres quickly.

6) Etc.

To be fair, have you actually read Sam Carey's works? Neal's dog and pony show doesn't do him justice (esp. the metaphysical matter creation bit). Dr. Carey's EE idea was one of several multiple working hypotheses trying to understand continental drift. It has long since been rejected based upon a number of lines of evidence. 45 years of careful scientific study and debate are against Neal... you may as well "believe" the logic and reasoning behind geosynclines because of a clever animation.

I don't know how animation is clever. Animation is a visual. Visuals are Math. You can't lie w/visuals, it's basic geometry. 45 years of study can easily be ALL wrong. Quantity is always overruled by Quality. U can live up to a 100 and still be a dunce; that's a basic point. 45 years plus the whole dam field MUST answer to logic. It don't matter if W.jr was spewing it out. The younger Ophiolite is not dominant to the rest of the crust's.

I won't say I'm a science buff, but yeah I read articles on science every now and then, considering that the newspaper ODDLY does not have a section on science. Hmmm, yet we have a sports section? If not them, go to your local university geology department and ask about it there. People will be willing to talk to you if you are open-minded and sincere in your inquiry. After all, it is their job to be knowledgeable about such things!

It would require disbelieving in mountains of geological data and throwing out much of what we know in physics and astronomy. The reason for holding this theory? Supposedly the plates fit together nicely. But the thing is, it's not that great a fit. So lots of reasons to disbelieve and nothing much to believe. Sounds crackpot to me.

Magnetic and mineralogical patterns in the rock, seismic patterns, fossils, and gps data all confirm the model of plate tectonics.
