  • Larry learned it the hard way... is that why he has no genitals?

  • Have you guys done anything on the idea of a "chosen people", and why that would be in a random Middle Eastern land? Why not Germany or Costa Rica?lol!

  • @Alineniz No, we haven't. But that's a great idea. I'll see if I can work it into season five. Thanks!

  • @misterdeity : Awesome. Thanks for the reply... (from a new skeptic African American French Canadian friend of the show).

  • You don't make sense brother, you try to talk with wisdom but your brain was empty,

  • @flordelizajacaban I don't think anyone knows who you're addressing. Use that filled-up brain to be a little more clear next time.

  • Isaiah spoke mostly about the end times, or second coming of Jesus Christ. No where does it say that the lamb and lion would lay down together when Jesus came the first time, was crucified, and resurrected. That is a complete mis-interpretation of the Bible.

  • @isthechurchtrue Having studied the Hebrew Bible quite a bit -- and with Jews no less, I'm happy to tell you that the Hebrew Bible doesn't mention a second coming at all because the Jewish idea of the Messiah was nothing like what the Christians ultimately claimed. It is the Christians who have completely misinterpreted the Hebrew Bible, not the other way 'round. The "second coming" is merely an apologetic argument for why Jesus didn't do what the Messiah was supposed to do.

  • @misterdeity so what do you think of all the people that say they have know God without a shadow of a doubt... such as Lewis, Spurgeon, and from current times...Ravi Zacharias, john lennox William lane Craig and Ben Carson? are they all mad in that case?

  • @warzoneG5 Anyone who says they know God without a shadow of a doubt is being intellectually dishonest. How exactly would one "know" such a thing? One's feelings? "Personal revelation"? And how would one know that the Being revealing himself or causing such feelings is actually God? Demons could do such things, I suppose -- if you're going to be open to the supernatural, anything is possible. This is all just so much nonsense.

  • @misterdeity whats your take on the occult, i mean most influential men of all time have been occultist including Hitler and they clearly believe in demons.... Bohemian grove for eg....these world leaders are sacrificing things maybe even in people to all the Gods that the maybe historical people of Israel wiped out . Moloch Asher Roth etc

  • @warzoneG5 just because they are famous does not mean that they cannot be delusional...

  • @Alineniz yes i agree but look at the numbers this is just a few people I have named....

  • @Alineniz the only real people who i feel are delusional are the masses who have been brainwashed by the tv....i mean Christians always are on point (not the fundies) when it comes to what exactly is happening in the world regarding politics and and the world....they know we are being deliberately dumb ed down, Burtrand russels Scientific outlook and a research done by the tavistock institute of human relations is a good start to see propaganda at work...

  • @isthechurchtrue No. Yours is a complete misinterpretation. There is no talk in the Hebrew Bible of the Messiah being God incarnate, nor is there any talk of the Messiah coming twice. That's Christian bullshit made up because Jesus didn't fulfill the supposed prophecies the first time. And don't try to tell me you know the Hebrew Bible better than the Jews. Or I'll tell you I know the Xtian Bible better than Xtians.

  • @misterdeity : Amazing reply. As usual....

  • In the end everything lies down together...it's called death...ba dump bump tissss

  • "The lamb and the lion will lie down together...but the lamb won't get much sleep." -Mark Twain

  • @Maphysto Close. That's my comedy hero, Woody Allen.

  • @misterdeity Whoops, you're right. And all this time I thought I was quoting Twain. Sounds like the sort of thing he'd say, though.

  • @Maphysto Twain is in my top five, and a favorite when it comes to witty religious satire/critique.

  • @misterdeity I once met a christian lamb It decided it was time to fulfill the biblical prophesy of the lion and the lamb

The lamb trusted the lion because every time it came close, the lion would look at it longingly but wouldn't attack

The lamb saw this as a sign from christ, to prove it he stuck his head in the lions mouth

The lion was an atheist that was out of it's natural habitate and starving It only had enough energy to do one thing, bite down HARD

    Religion "saved" the lion

  • @dffykvn Was the lion chained up?

  • ... Oooh, so is THAT why Larry is missing a... certain thing?

  • I bet I could get a lion to stop eating, it's just a matter of motivation...

Set the Lion on fire and you can be pretty sure it's gonna stop eating...

  • Like you don't believe in plenty of other absurd, brutal nastiness, lol !

  • can some one give me the bible passage with the lamb and the lion thing?

  • Isaiah 11:6

  • thanks a lot, i love the show!

  • wow, that's really ask and you shall receive.

  • does anyone ever draw comparisons between your style of comedy and that of Larry David?

  • Why did the Mormon bible mess it up? They should know better then mess with your scriptures Mr Deity...:-)

"6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them."

  • Funny as always.

And interesting! Is this is the first time Mr. Deity acknowledged having viewers?

  • That reminds me of the Woody Allen joke, the lion and the lamb may lie down together, but the lamb will not get much sleep.

  • Certainly we can count a trip to IHOP to be an "upside" after getting up at the crack of dawn. Not quite sufficient to compensate for the obvious downside.

  • Yeah, sunny-side-upside. That's how he rolls!

  • Mr. Deity is so goddamn awesome.

  • I voted 4 stars. is that alright?

  • Of course it is!

Although, you'll go to hell for that. Is that alright?

  • "i don't have to tell you, OBVIOUSLY. you learned it the hard way" lolz

  • Isaiah 11:6 also says the "leopard shall lie down with the kid" so it seems there is some kind of pedo-bestiality going on there! Makes Leviticus 18:22 "man shalt not lie with man" look kinda tame by comparison. Or am I missing something?

  • Kid is also a term that means Baby Goat and is probably what is being referred to. The Bible uses "children" or "child" when referencing humans

  • Thanks danciswithwolves

    Oh!

I did make a repulsive reading of the verse didn't I? I'm wondering if you find the Leviticus interpretation as disgusting?

  • My personal belief is that if two people love each other, it shouldnt matter if they are of the same sex. Your personal life is your personal life. Just dont go sharing it with people who dont want to hear about it. (And this applies to many subjects, including religion).

  • "I'm wondering if you find the Leviticus interpretation as disgusting?"

C'mon, this is the bible we're talking about here. All interpretations are correct. Unless you don't like someone else's interpretation, then their beliefs are hogwash.

  • My personal belief is that DickyHertz is a disgusting username... (but disgusting in a good way.)

    However, perhaps I've misinterpreted it.

(RayCathode's DickyHertz is in the UHF spectrum now.)

  • You guys rock... great vid!

  • Too bad Jesse didn't go to the Dairy Queen after the resurrection. He could have met all his church going fans having their traditional Sunday lunch.

  • "And really quite... quite difficult to watch." LOL. I love you guys.

  • I had to look up ihop, and OH LORDY.

I'm going to visit America one day just to eat there.

  • You'll get food poisoning.

    Nasty crap.

  • If it tastes as good as it looks then it'll be worth it.

  • believe me, it doesn't

  • ★★★★★

  • love these!

  • Love the show!!

  • So going to IHOP is a religious experience?

    ...man, I'm hungry, now.

  • Poor Larry listened to the wrong guy and tried to take the lion's lamb away. :-(

  • LOL good stuff as usual

  • IHOP after resurection? Oh yeah, that must have been when he went to visit the Lamanites and Nephites in the US. They were probably hungry too after their boat ride from Jerusalem.

  • Hell yeah, being dead for 2-3 days really takes it out of you. Gotta have some french toast after that.

  • Baaaaaa....OUCH! Love this channel!

  • I'd want to go to IHOP after being resurrected too. It really gives you an appetite. :)

  • I'm with ya, nothing says I've been ressurected like a Grand Slam breakfast...(yummmm...)
