Dinagyang is the best festival in the Philippines.each Member of the tribe attended dance class. thats why they dance well,with very good choreography.dinagyang is more on merrymaking,celebrating the image of little Jesus as they brought it here in Iloilo. we have different celebrations.lets watch aliwan 2008.

Don't fight oi hehehe. Ilonggo are also good dancers but their time hasn't come yet. Cebu is the best among them but we should not be putting down other people oi. We should be happy nalang if we always win and keep practising para ma perfect ulit mga upcoming performances of the Basakanon dancers!

Hay i sleep late last night, with my fingers all crossed waiting for the results announced at an online radio, but its all worth it! Finally the ALIWAN FIESTA is over and im so glad of the results, it was CEBU'S night definitely bagging most of the major prices. ahhh pintados de passi yong maraming nagtataka kung bakit second place sila at yong camiguin nagiging first place samantala yong lumad disqualified? nandoon ako sa grandstand noon sinulog 2006 yon.... pagkatapos mag performance nong camiguin hindi pa umuuwi yong mga tao sa grandstand kasi akala namin sasayaw pa yong lumad pero hindi pala... haaaaaaayyyyyy kaya tuwangtuwa kami nong naghahakot sila ng award nong 2007.. kaya lang may impostor sa 2008 haayyyyyy sasali pa sa aliwan... toink!

naiingit po kami kasi po ang gagaling po nila, 2 times lang po siang sumali sa aliwan tapos nagiging back to back champion agad... tapos nong ASIAN SUMMIT opening number pa po sila, pang world class po talaga,,, at tong sinulog halos boung mundo bastat merong pinoy sumasayaw po sila, habang ang mga tikalon nag popromote pa po at nakakaawa po talaga... basta po iniiral ko lang po yong crab mentality ng pinoy... masakit po kasi tanggapin yong katotohanan na natalo kami sa magaling na tribe na to.

all I can say. Dinagyang is the best festival in the Philippines.each Member of the tribe attended dance class. thats why they dance well,with very good choreography.dinagyang is more on merrymaking,celebrating the image of little Jesus as they brought it here in Iloilo. we have different celebrations.lets watch aliwan 2008.

sa dinagyang kasi...puro kasiyahan lang......kung kay darwin pa...walang SPIRITUAL ASPECT yung festival nila.... dinagyang means PAGSASAYA......so wag na kayong makikipagtalo pa kung ano ang ibig sabihin pa ng sinulog..... IT IS ALSO A PRAYER DANCE.........

from aliwan 2007 judges: sinulog performed with so much passion and reverence to the holy child that they themselves can feel the spirituality of the dance. for dinagyang: it's performance was more on the dance less on the spiritual aspect... pak! nosebleed!

hoy mjiester kung hindi mo naiiindtindihan ang concept ng sinulog wag mo na lnag intindihin dahil bobo ka...... ang sinulog based kaya ganyan ang kanilang costume..dahil..mga tao yan noon sa cebu.... na may simpleng hanabuhay na sumasamba kay sto. niño...... prayer dance ang kanilang pina pa-express hindi katulad ng dinagyang nyo parang mga taong grasa na kung parang baliw mkasayaw.... mga warriors nga daw....dafat nga lang na ganun ang sayaw nyo..wag nyong ihambing sa sinulog based na pormalan

Im a LUMAD BASAKANON defender against ILONGGOS and an AVID FAN as well. I know that u r a very good contingent. But i have a piece of advice for u guys! Change ur costume, a little more props and some new figures will help u win in ALIWAN! I will be there on MANILA this june i hope i could see u! SO GOODLUCK and start formulating ur ROUTINE as soon as possible! and pls make CEBU once again proud! Bring home the bacon! and be the first ALIWAN GRANDSLAM CHAMPION. ayaw mu tihik tihik sa budget ok?
