No dieselducy it did not come with the switch. I had to put it on. It is very tight in there so It was hard to get it in the light but I got it to fit!

Yes, dieselducy I did punch out that little hole. The hole is made for a switch but I think it is in a bad location. You can put a switch on it but it is vary hard to get it to fit. As you can see I used a push switch because it was the best one that would fit in there. You might haft to move the ballast over a bit to get it to fit. Good Luck!!!

dieselducy, I got the switch at a hardware store. The push button switches (like what I have) are getting hard to find. If you can't find one at a hardware then try the internet or try to fit a different switch in there.
