  • *where mission := missing

  • The best thing about the song is mission in my very humble opinion.. intro synth..

  • @Azliane believe it or not, when david gilmour came into the band, there really wasnt much drug use... it would make the band feel too strange during a show... tho they did keep their audience in mind... astronomy rock has a psychodelic crowd... theyre songs just have the right amount of complexity, feeling and transition.... anyone can apreciate this music now... way ahead of its time...

  • @CouganSmith Pink Floyd was all about drugs and music. Especially the drugs. It's always been that way. I would imagine most of the "classic rock" comments you're referring to are reminiscent; looking back on a truly psychedelic era.

It's just the culture. You don't go to a foreign video and complain of all the foreign comments.

  • TRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!

     "

    |_|

  • find yourself some lucy and you'll know why.

  • is there a video on youtube about pink floyd that doesn't have a single comment about smoking dope, getting high, or something like "oh man i'm so high right now, i'm eating cake and it's not made of flour, it's pure coke!" or "sheez man, toothpaste's for pussys, right now i'm listening to this song while i'm brushing my teeth with LSD" or even "dude, i'm so fucken hi', i actually got one heck of an overdose and i just snorted three hundred pounds of Charlie Sheen while listening to this song"

  • @Spectrekelvar - Unfortunately, most classic rock and jamband comments are littered with comments about drugs. Which is fine, but I like music sober too. I don't have to be tripping or high to enjoy Pink Floyd.

  • @Spectrekelvar shutup ya boring cunt and come to the lysergic side.

  • Ya ya

  • The video is actually PF performing Careful With That Axe Eugene from the Live in London doc from the early 70's with some live DSOM audio playing over it.

  • ProShot footage of the Dark Side Of The Moon Tour!!

I can't believe it. You get the entire show? Where can I get it?

    What's it from?

  • I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE OFFICIAL OUTTAKES AND LIVE VERISONS COMING OUT ON SEPTEMBER 27TH!!! A little pricy but totally worth it.

  • I don't need drugs or alcohol to appreciate Pink Floyd. Its amazing how many generations appreciate Pink Floyd. I was born in 1973. They're music seems to be unaffected by time. Even my children appreciate Pink Floyd. The first song my 12 year old played on her electric guitar the day I brought it home for her was "Wish you were here".

  • this sounds must be from heaven... Pink Floyd is, how can I say it, perfect.

  • i just watched this after a joint!..... that was amazing

  • i just watched this after a joint!..... that was amazing

  • this song brings one thing too mind BONG HOOTS!!!!!

  • im tripping balls i'm blazed love this song

  • Lol...yea you can tell so many people are on drugs

  • John Lennon in the audience??? min 0:09. I think is him

  • Need no weed, need no alcohol. Pink Floyd is the best as they are.

  • this takes me after the dark side of the moon

  • It doesn't sound like the song at all haha

  • Is this trip really necessary?

    (Look it up in youtube)

  • please tell me there is more of this footages!

  • in LSD...

    amazing...

  • This music is awesome when drunk, green faery, if you know what I am talking about, try it, its not illegal. But Pricey, mellow out with some real absinthe. Just sit back, and enjoy.

  • People say this is stoner music. Well, stoners know the best music. There's nothing wrong with smoking a little weed and listening to Pink Floyd. But i reckon listening to Pink Floyd is better than weed :)

  • my interest in hippie culture started with pink floyd

  • interesting, considering they weren't hippies.

  • @Napoleon476 They are not hippies.

  • de donde proviene este video, hay un DVD o VHS con este live?

  • keyboards dont play a stong enough role.

rick makes this song what it is on the album!

  • live is always better, to bad I was born in the wrong generation.

  • @alby711

I think the same as you, everytime I hear Pink Floyd songs, or watch those videos, makes me wish I was born in the 60's, maybe before, maybe a bit after. Lucky the people who had the chance to watch them live...

  • really....me too wish for it. we are lucky to be accustomed to this world....pink floyd, led zeppelin must be missing those hippie days badly

  • the splitting of the rainbow in the pictures

  • jazz music in some sense

  • jazz music

  • when you have some green and this song playing nothing can go wrong

  • Absolutely beautiful, the perfect song to listen after a hard day at work or if you like when you smoke some grass, is just chillin. but with this tune youll get unstressed in no time. watch the stars...

  • OH MY GOD THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS.

    amazing.

  • pink floyd instrumentals <3

  • This version is better than the album's for sure.

  • the best band forever

  • its all good man. usually its the energy the crowd gives is the energy you hear threw the music. also was probably a great song/album to expand with other ideas they havent thought of while recording.

  • it sounds sweet like this

  • Generally musician's explore more stuff on stage which they try to limit when recording an album. Rick and Dave's playing is melancholic (In their own words)...which fits best with Roger's politically angry lyrics and brings out a good combination. Enjoy !

  • they went on the dark side of the moon tour in 1974 not 1973 in 73 they play DSOTM but it was like the demos

  • that year brings bad memories to us

  • i wrote dogs!

  • i saw them live in 1973 in Madison. it was the first time they played dark side of the moon in the U.S. i took some LSD and the light show was so intense. after ward i was so freaked out by how cool the show was drove my car off the road because the traffic lights were so distracting

  • you drove high? well i'm glad i wasn't born yet to get into a fucking accident with u.

  • Hey man, that's okay, we all do stuff like that, haha, I've been high and drove my car into a CORN FIELD on LSD. It was fun, until...The pigs showed up.

  • great story thats just what you want on youtube

  • @mike117343 madison, nice! my grandfather told me about him seeing them in madison around the same time, maybe it was the same concert. He said he had never heard of Floyd before this concert, and he was taken to it by some friends, and he just fell in love with them! Of course he was probably high so the story was a little twisted up, but it sounds awesome, too bad my generation will never know witness it

  • the video doesn't match the audio :\

  • nick and roger look the most high

  • Didn't you see the pipe 42 secs in?

  • cigarette

  • magical

  • this is awesome, i wish i was alive in 73 to see them

  • Comment removed

  • The drummer is SOOOOO tweaked

  • Greatest Floyd song ever. On the studio version each sax note (Deep bass sound) brings the duel guitar jam into greater cohesion. Amazing!!!!!!

  • dude of course they did drugs! although he has nothing to do with pink floyd, but since we're on the topic, i don't think brian may did drugs.

  • as a kite

  • the best ever

  • i think it was rick

  • WHERE IS THE VCS-3????

  • Rick, not Nick.

  • it s not in 1973!!!but 1972!!!

  • They did drugs. Just not often, after the Syd Barrett incident happened. :)

  • hahaha

  • Is there more to this concert on video??

  • awesome - but mason looks stoned out of his mind
