@438danielle This is Harvest Moon DS Cute. To get the Mineral Town characters in your game, you need to connect it to Friends of Mineral Town or More Friends of Mineral Town, the GBA games.

Those cutscenes? Hugh vs. Kate? Yeah, you get them whenever you exit the sprite tree at a specific time. I have videos about those events.

Strange... I was never able to activate this event without the connection... Probably your game was glitched. Does Popuri come to the valley at all, besides festivals?

Nope, I am not even friends with hugh or kate and I've activated scenes with both of them...... like their rhyming contest which has like 4 parts to it...... ans I do not have cheat codes either

Their rhyming contests don't really need to have any specific FP to activate. Are you sure you don't have all the requirements listed?

There is no current way to connect GBA games into DS emulators, unless you already have a save file that already connected outside of the computer.
