The Keith Smith tracks remind me of some I recorded on a good quality portable cassette recorder at The Madingley Club, Twickenham on several Sunday evenings in late 72 - mid 73. Personnel: Pete Dyer (trombone), Jay McMahon (clarinet/sax), Dave Evans (drums), Alan(Min) Mears - sometimes Ashley Keating (bass), Graham Patterson - sometimes Richard Simmons (piano). I have ten such cassettes which bring back memories of many enjoyable evenings spent by the riverside there (pint in hand).
very nicely done. he was a brilliant musician. I remember him also playing with waso, in belgium . unles I,m mistaken, it sounds like Dave Evans on drums on your music tracks.
