Jus started playing this game. My first Tomb Raider game. I got out of the burning library and the guy shoots at me. I have guns but can't shoot back. Then I am on a boat. Trying to figure out what the point is.

Tomb Raider 2 had one the best level designs of all the series. And it was MASSIVE. I had the privilege of not only playing this classic game but also it was my first PC game ever.

Great memories. I still have the game and the box.

All tomb raider fans we need to sign a petition for crystal dynamics to recreate tomb raider-the dagger of Xian and Tomb Raider 3 and tomb raider chronicles as they did with tomb raider 1. I think TR2, 3 and Chronicles are the best by far. But I think it will be better if they extended the level a bit.

but yeah a recreation for TR 3 would be mega epical, especially for the quad track!!

@dylandyson Your right about everything here. But yea a real quad track would be awesome. My all time favourite TR were 2, 3 and 5. The Rome and Gallows Tree leves were the best I reckon in the game in TR5. I have emailed CD to recreate them. Soo much awesome memories lol.

There's no sense in making various remakes of old games, as the first game's remake was just to celebrate the 10 years of the Tomb Raider series. They should spend their times creating new stuff, not remaking classical games that everybody's played already.

Well, maybe they create a remake of The Dagger of Xian when Tomb Raider reaches 20 years! :P After all, TR2 was a fantastic game!

I don't know why English Wikipedia didn't add the "The Dagger of Xian" title to the page referring to TR2. My guess is that it wasn't released with this name in US. But if you read the plot u'll see the text referring to the Dagger of Xian.

you can't really hear it here, and it starts later than it usually does, but the music that plays when your running through all the fire and jumping through the obstacles to get to the main room- that music is FUCKING EPIC, you can hear it vaguely start at 0:45 and then on till the end. p.s. when i first started this game, when i heard zip say "I know" to the butler telling him its Lara, and then the screen going black, made me shit my pants lolz

I actually prefer Tomb Raider to Uncharted. Uncharted emphasizes too much on its cliched combat system. TR is more about exploration.

So, Zip--mistaking the doppelganger for Lara--tries to take her down... but of course ultimately fails because who can take Lady Croft down?!?!?! Not even a ginormous serpent or a prehistoric T-Rex could do that!!!! :-)
