  • @CrashHavokTV talking to yourself gives the best advice ever!!

  • Even the computer cuts Data off lol

  • ROFLLL too funny.

  • a computer smarter than data lol.

  • ANDROID <3

  • haha, "Thank you, sir. I comprehend."

  • I don't remember this. What episode is it from?

  • Even the computer gets anoied with Data

  • Awesome

  • :-P

  • Too bad the computer never told Wesley this...

  • Should be titled "Computer tells Data to shut the fuck up."

    Totally made my day.

  • He didn't need that emotion chip.

  • Even the computer tells Data to shut up on the Enterprise

  • 9 people are androids.

  • @LOTRzagorath You say that like it's a bad thing...Data is an android, and a damn good one! :)

  • lol troll :P

  • Even the computer says "That's enough Data!"

  • SHUT UP DATA!!!

  • Data is hot!

  • Data made every other bridge officer look obsolete. The dude could run the ship by himself and did so on numerous occassions.

Just make him a captain of a ship and give him a bunch of redshirts to die on away missions, and he'd be set.

  • @piratebri Or just have the ship run itself and have it generate an army of holograms, beam probes to the surface of planets and have them generate holographic workforces to complete missions

then plug data into star-fleet's main computer and have him administrate the entire fleet,

I imagine it would look something like a computer controlled marine rush in star-craft 2

  • @piratebri Unfortunately he blew himself up.

  • @piratebri The problem with Data being in command is that he isn't always capable of making decisions or regulating his own reactions (especially once he gets the emotion chip). I think he needs to have a nearby superior officer to tell him what to do on occasion. On a normal day, though, you're right--Data could run the ship himself.

  • @piratebri Which they did.

  • I loved the fact Data was getting annoyed with the ship's computer.

  • What episode is this from?

  • "Conspiracy" It was the 25th episode of the first season.

  • This must have been so fun for Majel Rodenberry to do.

  • Wait... Did the computer just tell him to shut up

  • Data's "intriguing" always reminds me of Spock's "fascinating" <3

  • @SakuraX7 If i remember correctly, in the 2-part episode "Unification", Spock actually says "fascinating" towards Data when he learns that Data is devoid of all type of emotion. ;)

  • Data is just as overly emotional in the first few episodes of TNG as Spock was in the beginning of the original series.

  • You guys know that the computer is Nurse Chappel, right?

  • @yoyo2ification You mean Lwaxana Troi :P

  • @SweetZombiJesus Same actress.

  • @yoyo2ification I know, hence the ":P"

    :P

  • @astrangedave Wouldn't have been half as funny tho lol.

  • How does it make sense that the computer has better emotional understanding that the android?

  • @trlkly Probably because the computer has to deal with ALL crew member requests and inquisitions on a daily basis. :p

  • haha, even the computer got tired of Data's know-it-all explanation.

  • if you think about, there only one thing to do in process for Data to becoming more human is to die. it is the one thing left that separates him and us( he has emotions and desires)

  • @CrypticWatcher Reminds me of The Bicentennial Man by Isaac Asimov. In order to be recognized as a human, he ultimately has to cause his brain to degrade, until he dies (on his 200th birthday).

  • IF THEY SET THAT ANDROID FREE IT WILL BE THE END OF ALL OF US!!!!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

  • I love how in the future computers will have their own way of telling people to shut up.

  • whuch episode is this?

  • @szjozsi Conspiracy, first season

  • @szjozsi Conspiracy - TNG 1x24

  • Comment removed

  • @mobcat40 lol. epic spell check fail.

  • that was funny and he looked happy for himself that he did that because it is human behavior. nice job data.

  • Awww, poor Data. You can babble at me all you like, sweetie.

  • That happens when your computer is your boss' wife...

  • The computer interrupts him, classy.

  • God it even pisses the computer off! XD

  • DATA talking to him self that must be some thing new for him its another thing to bore the computer death.

  • That is kewl..Right on Data. lol

  • Update: I belive it's conspiracy but not 100%. It certainly is a unique episode.

  • I CAN"T believe it! I have never seen this scene before! Is it episode 'conspiracy'????

  • As a Data/Enterprise shipper, I love this scene.

  • The computer tells him to shut up, that makes everyone on the crew from wesly to picard now dosent it?

  • At 0:20, one of the images that appears on the monitor is a caricature of Gene Roddenberry, depicting him with a bird's body. This is a pun on his nickname, the "Great Bird of the Galaxy."

  • i'm data and the entire world is that computer.

whoa....i just blew my own mind there.

  • lol even the computers tell him to shut the hell up

  • Poor data even the computer tells him to shut up! XDD

  • what episode was this?

  • @carrotsRgood4you ... "conspiracy" I think

  • Even computers won't put up with his aspergers shit.

  • he got pwnd by the enterprise lol

  • WAIT A MINUTE! *I* know! maybe the computer is PROGRAMMED to tell Data when 'enough is enough'. It's trying to use time efficiently rofl. I dunno...?! :P

  • Only DATA could have a conversation with a fellow machine. This WAS the 1st season, right? This was his early stages of trying to become more human, and having a conversation with a computer is NOT likely to help him reach his goal lol, BUT, he IS learning lol :)

  • he shows so much emotion here! cuuuuuute <3

  • @TheSecretdahlia 0:42 " . . . talking to myself . . .!" Humans do that! I must be becoming more human!!! =D

Data is so sweet. I love the wonder in his voice. "Intriguing!" What episode is this from?

  • I bet he had to practice not blinking a lot. At the rate Data likes to read records, he'd miss about 3 in a single blink.

  • Even the computer gets enough of Data's rants.

  • Five people do not understand Data and want him to continue babbling.

  • I wonder if Data started to babble to Tasha Yar about the act of sex, and what to expect during sex... This is what I think she would have said to that: "Data, I'm feeling really horny right now, will you just kiss me and **** me?" Data: "What do you mean when you say ****?" Tasha: "This!!" Cut to the scene where Data is now walking onto the bridge. Picard: "Well, at least you're functioning." Data: "Fully, Capatain! And I had a ******* good time, too." Picard:"DATA!!" Data: "Sorry"
  • @datalorelover ummm.....dont quit your day job.

  • @datalorelover Jesus Christ, that was bloody awful.

  • In the next *deleted* scene, Data picks

up the monitor and smashes it against a wall!!

  • ...cybernetic brain.

  • Two things: Doctor Soung mentioned he never lived in a place where he didn't have an escape plan, and I doubt he would let all of his research go without writing down all the major discoveries he made. Remember all those books he had in his lab in "Brothers"? I'm sure they could use all those books, plus *story idea* the memory and software "dump" Data made into the Enterprise computer before he left, to re-create Data. Not to mention that Mattox fellow who claimed he was so close to making a...

  • "Working"

    Windows has encountered an error.

  • We are Microsoft, you will be assimilated!!

  • @sciencenonesense yes he is

  • LOL thats what i love about data and the computer did not need the whole explanation LOL

  • Uppity computer, interrupting Data like that. :)

  • I love data lol he's so funny! Oh and sorry I think I accidentally hit the flag as inappropriate command thing oops!! Anyway great video!!

  • In the newest star trek movie there was completely DIFFERENT timeline. So It has no effect on this. BTW newest Trek movie was kin of blockbuster for teenagers - nothing more

  • @Freddran yeah. I like the orignal and the next generation.

  • This may seem sort of weird and an unnecessary comment, but I love Data's eyes for some reason.

  • @Velocityangel oh me too Its what i fell in love with when i first saw him and now he is either my soul mate or there is some one out there just like him in every way but human for me somwhere. LOL

    Me love data.

  • 0:18 - 0:24

Thats how my screen looks like when I porn surf

  • lol... data memorized 6 months of logs for all federation dealings in a matter of moments, but was more proud that he decided to talk to himself about it. notice the pleased look on his face at 0:46... priceless!! i love data!

  • LOL even the computer tires of his babbling. Poor Data. x'D He's so adorable.

  • the computer basically said "fuck off" at 1:02

  • Hahahahahahahahaha!!!! Funny

  • Hahahahahahahahaha!!!! Funny

  • lol, computer totally pwned him on 0:59 :D

  • I bet Lt. Yar had a good time with Data (ahem!)

  • @mrsotter19 And she PROBABLY couldn't get a disease from him, or worry about needing a morning after pill! lol

  • @Protectobot The PERFECT boyfriend if you ask me... ;-)

  • He's so adorable!

  • ha ha!!!!!!!!

  • Wow I wonder how many times Picard or riker was just subtly saying "your mouth runeth over"

  • @SSgtParmer lol yeah

  • Data is so kickass its unbelievable.

  • Wow, computer told him XD

  • Lol he embarrassed himself in front of the computer.

  • The computer totally told Data off. XD

    "Thank you sir, I comprehend"

    "Excuuuuse me?!?!"

  • LOL!!! Even the Computer subtly tells Data to shut up!

  • DA FUCK DAT BITCH SAY!!?!?

  • hehe the computer's like "I get it. Shut up."

  • @superbobfulspiffy I guess he's SMARTER than the computer, AND more patient! lolssssss :D

  • rofl, computers such a bitch. xD

  • Heh. "Thank you sir, I comprehend."

  • Data you really think a computer wants to know your emotions get back to work!

  • I love Data's compulsion with his own 'distraction' Brent's a definite standout in this series. Thanks..

  • Haha, I love Data's expressions... XD

  • Even the computer has no patience for data

  • lol hes like "THE FUCK THAT BITcH SAY?"

  • Data looks very elf like in this one

  • 1:10 Great acting. AGAIN, TOO FUNNY!

  • Data, getting his feelings hurt by the rude computer. TOO FUNNY!!

  • oh, i love the expressions on data's face! you know, it always seems like the alien outsider character ends up being the most human character in the show. the actual humans take it for granted.

  • I refuse to acknowledge the existence of Star Trek Nemesis until they come up with a way to bring him back.

  • agreed!

  • 2nd. It's a horrible shit movie. Doesn't exist for me. same for insurrection, and ds9.

  • Your only depriving yourself.

  • Deep Space Nine is horrible shit !?!

LOL ! DS9 is the second highest rated ST series after TNG. If you dont aknowledge Ds9, you are missing a huge gap in the ST timeline.

  • yeah. even if it is total crap, i'm not saying it is, you don't know what the Jem'Hadar are. or the changelings.

  • You're missing something serious if you don't appreciate DS9. It has the most fucking epic characters ever. The stories are only surpassed by The Next Generation.

Which also has fucking epic characters...

  • i didn't say that i didn't appreciate DS9. I'm just saying that it wasn't the best series there.

  • insurrection was awesome!!! You can have sooooooo many episodes where Data malfunctions. if he's gone Q will rule over everything. and what happened to him? why isn't he in any movies?

  • Data has his memory completely copied over to another data found lost in space before the incident with the ship. Data can easily make a return.

  • Fucking awesome idea

  • agreed

  • @PunchSarcophagus

    they have

read the star trek countdown comics or read the path to 2409 on the star trek online site

hes captain of the enterprise ^.^

  • @PunchSarcophagus

I think he does come back somehow in some of the books, but yeah.

  • @PunchSarcophagus hm, they tried to, with B4

  • @PunchSarcophagus They did, with the 2009 Star Trek comic book.

  • @lukegreen37

wait?what? you mean they came up with a way to bring him back?

  • @k0ga777

How many times do characters get killed in sci-fi and show up again?

  • @k0ga777 Yes, read up on it; as a preview, they used his replica.

  • @PunchSarcophagus

i agree T_T he is my fav character

  • @PunchSarcophagus sir, we've restored b4's neocortex to a function state similar to data's and made some improvements to his facial structures

    blam, new actor, new data

  • @PunchSarcophagus In the newest star trek movie there was a massive breakdown in the time stream by a romulan ship coming from the past and messing things up. Oh, and vulcan got blown up. So maybe it would change things enough for him to not have died? =]

  • @zbartram

Yeah, now him, and the entire next generation crew, could end up NOT EXISTING.

  • @PunchSarcophagus I watched it again last night and I got so mad! That B4 can never replace Data! Plus, in that future, wouldn't you think they'd have a backup file of Data's persona/memories at least?

  • @MartyredxMaiden so true!!Lets grab lore take out his chips put in the on in side of B4 that was Datas make a new emotion chip fix the twich in his face and call him data!

  • @PunchSarcophagus Totally agreed

  • @PunchSarcophagus they already have.

  • @PunchSarcophagus They did, in the official comic book that takes place before the new movie. they used B4's body and before Data left to go sacrifice him self, he put his memory in B4. Same Data, just no emotions chip.

  • @GusTheMonkey i still would want the same data back not B4 with a data mind. Me want data not B4

  • @PunchSarcophagus me too. but i hope there is a way. I mean they can always build a new andriod but it would never fully be data. Now if they make a new andriod send him back in time picard is saved by data and the new andriod saves data and this new andriod dies saving data!!! LOL i found a way yeah!!!! now to build datas savoror!!!!

  • @BethVidz Just have the Q continuum RESURRECT Data! HAHA! Picard's personal "Q" OWES him the favor, still, in my eyes ^_^ It's no worse a way to keep someone "alive"/intact than the OTHER zillion ways ST characters have been saved, over the years :P haha

  • @PunchSarcophagus They did, but it technically isn't canon.

  • @inamerica55585 I was gonna say...it sounds like the ST definition of canon is not the typical def. If the comics don't contradict the movies/shows, then it can be considered a true event. I THINK...there wasn't any contradiction, or at least no more than the shows/movies contradicting each other! O_O

  • @Protectobot In that case, they brought back Data's memories in B-4's body. He later married a cloned Tasha Yar and became captain of the Enterprise-E.

  • @inamerica55585 HAHA, might as well do that. I'd still feel sad for the o.g. Tasha, but I'm a hopeless romantic, or at least when it comes to rebellious hotties like her, that can kick ass BD

  • @Protectobot my username is o.g. on tinierme.

  • @thepurplecrystalz Hmmmm, never heard of it...?

  • @PunchSarcophagus read the comic countdown mate.

  • @PunchSarcophagus Whether Data LIVES on, depends on whether the ST comics contradicted what happened in Nemesis. I haven't read the Countdown comics, but I THINK...they do NOT contradict the movie, or at least no more than the newest ST movie contradicts it! O_O

  • That computer is a bitch. She's probably just jealous that Data gets to go on away missions, while she's stuck on the Enterprise.

  • You know, Data didn't really need that emotion chip anyway. He probably already had an emotional programming installed but didn't use it very much.

  • intriguing

  • haha my dad said that this series wasnt as good as the original and im now reading one of the ep's books and its all about some "Data" guy. now i get it ;0)

  • Picard walks into the room

Picard: Mr Data, you're talking to yourself

Data: Yes captain, it's the only way I can be sure of an intelligent conversation

  • lolll amazin

  • Poor little Data! He's only trying to be helpful, yet, even the ship cuts him off in mid-explanation! He's like a robotic Rodney Dangerfield! He just can't get no respect!

  • I LOVE Datas Reaktion, after the computer said "Thanks Sir" it's like, "okay, it's enough" xD

  • LMAO

  • In the comics leading up to the new film, he is alive and Captain of the Enterprise. And that's canon.

  • No it's not!

  • were I can read that comics???
