This is the pledge worded in August 1892 by Francis Bellamy (1855 - 1931). Free of State and or Religious influence. People seem to forget that we are a Republic. There is no offical language or religion

USA was becoming more attached to its Christian-based roots; it was a time of great conservatism stimulated by the sentiment of hostility held against the extremely progressive communist nations most of which at the time held indoctrinized atheism. that's why so many of the eastern european countries do not value religion as much as say Italy or India or Spain or Israel or USA or Saudi Arabia or Vatican City

I've taken the time to read both of Senator Obama's books and I have done my research into Mr Obama's background, character and judgment. Additionally, he IS running for the highest political office in the land but, according to you we should not research or follow his political career? The fact that I even needed to make this video is the REAL shame! Maybe if questioning someone's patriotism wasn't part of the right wing's political discourse it wouldn't have been necessary. Someone works his entire life in public service, served as a state senator, is serving as a U.S. Senator and he has to have his patriotism questioned? Maybe you should pay as close attention to the unfair attacks that Senator Obama has had to put up with as you do to my YouTube videos.
