Sau Pao
Ingredients (for the bun)
Plain flour 160g
Sugar 30g
Baking powder 2g
Yeast 2g
Water 80g
Ingredients (for filling):
Sweet lotus paste and red coloring in appropriate amount
Procedures:
Mix bun ingredients together until smooth
Cut the mixture into 8 portions, then well I guess u have to make it Sau Pao looking with the filling inside
Spray a little bit of water on top of the buns, and then put into a container so that it can yeast up to be doubled in size
Color the buns in red and then steam them
This is what I found and I havent tried it actually so not sure how it will work out... but anywayz heres the translation hope it works~!
actually just realised the red colouring isnt for the filling... its for the outside of the bun~ sorry!
delicious
