I remember the Millionaire episode so vividly...and the Middle Eastern guy who immediately preceded her originally (and won quite big) was perhaps the second best result I've ever seen on the show. Two epic contestants one right after the other, and both had me in tears at the time!
Start listening at 6:43 (West's voice) and compare it to the voice heard at 1:52 (Fields' voice) and you'll notice the difference between Randy West and Rich Fields. I don't want to argue with you but I am sure I'm hearing the voices of Fields and West correctly...
Some people get a crummy trip... some people win a couch, some people win a $3000 ceiling fan... and some people win 3 cars with odds of 1 in 3 of winning even if you picked randomly.
In the final clip of the series, I was the CBS page seen in the corner. What a moment that was. Little did everyone at home know, the velcro on the reveal didn't quite hold-- showing everyone the Mustang was the ONE WRONG PRICE. It was a great time for sure! Thank you.
All of these rock...especially Marlin and the cute way he boogied. He sure got a hell of a birthday present, that's for sure!! :)

The One Wrong Price moment was from December 2003, not 2004.
jjc92787 4 years ago
That doesn't sound like Rich on the One Wrong Price piece. Who was that?
twinku1 4 years ago
actually it was. that was from the million dollar show TPIR did after Rod Roddy's death (rest his soul).
coleyd 4 years ago
No it wasn't.
The announcer was Randy West, who also auditioned for the job.
promoman19 4 years ago
@coleyd The April 24, 2004 episode?
TheJamesgordon43 1 year ago
@coleyd Actually, I correct myself. It was the December 13, 2003 episode.
TheJamesgordon43 1 year ago
@coleyd that sounds like Randy Moss not Rich
bambam2124 1 year ago
@coleyd It's NOT Rich. It was Randy West.

The UK version of "who wants to be a millionaire" is better because there's more money involved (£>$).
god0fgod 4 years ago
yeah because british pounds are double their worth in american money or more. 250,000 pounds is the same as $512,000 in american dollars

Sorry to be a technical arsehole, but that last clip was from 2003 -- it was from the Million Dollar Spectacular celebrating Bob's 80th birthday.
DrLove0378 4 years ago
The cuts are really unnecessary. Nice moments tho.
almightytora 4 years ago 2
They are great clips but to tell ya the truth I have to agree with MTCesquire you picked the most inopprtuned moments to make your edits
cooksta4prez08 4 years ago 2
Who was the first male ever to win a million dollars on WWTBAM?
GarthBeatty 4 years ago
It was John Carpenter, back when Regis Philbin hosted.
Khat57 4 years ago
And I believe he was the first contestant ever IN THE WORLD to win the grand prize in the WWTBAM franchise.
gshowguy 3 years ago
ABC: John Carpenter. Syndie: Kevin Smith (and Vieria's first Millionaire)
pjc858 4 years ago
Cool clips, but you sure pick the most inopportune moments to make edits. My head hurts after watching all that random cutting.
