@TheHernanPatricio kno what i just noticed??? george harrison's son is hot!!!!! i go for the musical and artist ones!!!!! but he looks just like his dad!!!!! i love that he plays guitarrr!!!!!!!
Never implied there was a problem - just pointing out that he sounds like he's trying to do an Orbison. Where does that indicate there's a problem? But now you've brought it up, he could "score the right notes" without doing an impersonation. Like I said, just an observation - I never said it was bad. Don't get the attitude this....
@dport4 Agreed! It's Marc Mann (slide & lead Guitar) who get's very little, or no recognition for his great guitar work, He was so central to the "Harrison" guitar sounds in Concert for George. He took several of the solos- even with Clapton on the same stage, and sounded great! Yet, was only recognized as part of the band in the liner notes... Anyway, this is a great little performance.
Well, Tom always sounded like he wanted to be in The Byrds.
But in Handle With Care he is trying to sound like George and Zimmy- who sang some of the verses on the record. He does a decent job of sounding like Dylan.
Jeff is singing the part originally sung by Roy - but very few people can do Roy.
Let's stop with the comparatives. There's a lot in Prince's solos that are very reminiscent of Santana. And some Hendrix... In the end, we are all in awe of these masters and wish we could do what they do...period!
This is a great video full of brilliant musicians and good lord...Dhani is George reincarnated. thank you for posting

I don't understand why Dhani didn't just do his dad's part instead of the harmony.

Prince annoys me. Ridiculously talented, but arrogant as hell. He's playing at a tribute concert, and he just walks off the stage?

@Voodoochil111111 That was a dick move! If he is like that, it really lowers my opinion of him.

Dhani invited Prince. Dhani was a fan of Prince, and wanted to mix the old with the new.
