Well, there are references in other C&C games. In Yuri's Revenge, said man will say "All your base are belong to me." and in RA3, in a bonus video the Emperor George Takei will say "All your base are belong to us.", so I wouldn't wonder if Joe made some way of a reference in the GDI intro.

I cant believe I hadnt noticed the similarities and its very interesting of how both game intros are consistent to each other.
This cant be a coincidence!
Makes one wonder, if Joseph Kucan had actually played Zero Wing, before he directed the TS cut scenes.
