In italian snaffblatt was translated as "SOFFIABLABLA". Soffia= to blow; "bla bla" is the onomatopoeia for the sound when you break bubbles or when you blow under water.

Dinglehopper was translated as "ARRICCIA-SPICCIA": arriccia means to curl the hair (is it DINGLE?), spiccia means "doing something very fast" (is it the same of hopper?).

When this movie came out I was three years old. It was the first film I saw in theatres. After I saw it I guess I would dream about scuttle and would wake my parents up laughing in the middle of the night. I must have been laughing pretty loud because my parents' bedroom was on the other side of the house. To say the least I thought Scuttle was very amusing. I still do! I also loved Ursala. I would try and imitate her low voice at three.
