"Flying Over The Ocean" - A FlightGear movie

I have one question.. Is is possible to make a trans-ocean flight in flight gear? I tried once but when i saw that GPS can't find any airport at the other side of the ocean,i gave up. Is there anyone who did that? BTW Great video.

Oscar! Can you help me? I have a problem with the urban effect and the water refl. effect. I have installed 2.4 and the effects are like a normal 2.0 version

@fcdaxfecgrex Hey! Hmm, from this, I can only ask if you've looked at the Rendering Options (in the View menu). The Urban shader is switched on separately from there by clicking on a checkbox. Also, be sure to drag the Performance/Quality slider to at least 2.5 (or maybe 3?) to see the water reflection and urban effect.

@osjcag Ok i have switched the effects's checkbox but i forgot to set the quality on 3 or 3.5. The effects are now working! Tanks!

Look at the graphics in flightgear & then look at the graphics on this channel (JerdooFlightX ) they will blow you away!!!!

@airaction2257 If FlightGear had as many designers working on the game as Flightx does, FlightGear would be the father of all sims... It's open source, and you actually get really good stuff for an open source game... it only keeps getting better and better.

@FlightgearFlyer I use ScreenFlow, that's for Mac. I don't know what Fallen uses actually, you should ask him yourself ;-) He's on Linux (his YT username: planetacancun2)
