I fly real paragliders free-flight and powered. My skysurfer acts just like my real one. I have flown the s/surfer in up to 15 km/h winds safely. Not about lift, it's about the maximum airspeed of the model's wing. But zero wind also works fine. Are you handlaunching or trying to take off from the ground? Ground takeoffs are very difficult, need absolutely smooth concrete/golf green etc due to the small diameter of the wheels - tiniest bump and they go off course, not into wind means no takeoff
I have one of these in standard (stock) specification and it absolutely will not fly (I've been in aeromodelling since 1995, so I know what I'm doing!). I just wanted to ask if yours is standard/stock or modified in any way?
@jasona9393 I flew mine stock in this video. You have to use the throttle for elevator control. If there is any wind you are out of luck for flying because of the characteristics of the model itself. It works best in little or no wind.
how did you do this paraglider??? i really want to know how to build one like this...can you tell me how do it??if you have any design or project..plz..help me..=) peace
I had about 3 of these and usually never had enough power to launch. This first time I got one in the air I went to turn it back around but was out of range and lost it....Out of the box these are cheaply made and found that the turning control on the servo would eventualy fall off or break.....Very fragile
Easy answer. This model is made for no wind. If you got wind, you must weight it much more to make it fly, but you might consider easy out of control... That will be the time to go on something bigger... There are 2 and 4 lines control Paragliders and from 2sqm to 8.5sqm petrol engine powered... Let me know if you are interested...
hi i built one like this i am running it on a 7.4v 740mha 2 cell lipo i think that is a good way to do it to reduce the weight to help it gain height or you could use a 3 cell lipo but check the motor can handle it
Someone has one that lives near me. I have seen them flying near by and would love to get to see it close up. Thanks for watching and the comment frank.
The left stick controls the motor speed and the right stick pulls down on the air foil on one side at a time to make it turn left or right. Thanks for the comment xBrite.
Yeah, the shipping is awful on the paraglider right now. I guess they are making up the difference in the selling price that way. Thanks for the comment DrDave1911.
It is different and I like it for that reason. There has to be almost no wind for this little sucker to fly right. Thanks for the comment webvideosunlimited.
I was running towards the little sucker during the landing because I could hear a car coming, Lucky for me they turned off before coming my way. Thanks for the great comment on the video NBM.
Cool. Now you just need a pet hampster with a little helmet cam. LOL. Either that or upgrade to a larger sky parachute and put your lazy dog in it. That ought to get his/her adrenalin flowing. Another great video Eric. 5* fer sure.

Hey,
I got one of these but am having trouble,
it just keeps on flying into the ground as if it doesnt have enough power,
do you need to fly it in absolutely NO wind or does it need a tiny amount for lift?
thanks
nice vid
