Considering the dog doesn't have the anatomy "designed" for bipedal movement, it would be safe to surmise that walking on two legs may seem unnatural to the dog, but over time, the muscles necessary for bipedal balance would develop, making the "uncomfortable" part about it null. Perhaps, today, the dog doesn't even notice that it walks in a manner that was not originally intended by her genes.
