Linthorpe voted in three - one Independent and two labour to represent the people of Linthorpe in the council - to fight for and vote for what would benefit the residents there. Middlesbrough Council did not give the ok for this. Mbro council is over 5,000 employees and 49clrs. It was the cllrs on planning (mostly Labour) and the chair of planning (labour cllr Mcpartand) who gave the ok for this. You voted Labour cllrs in so you get what you voted for.

The point you make about masts not being erected near schools because of health fears is an interesting one. How can the government and local councils justify putting masts in built-up areas if they won't put them near schools? It makes no sense at all. The truth is though that they can get away with it because most people are unaware of the dangers. Living long-term in these radiation fields can be catastrophic to health. And most people in urban areas are within spitting distance of a mast.

TS4 yes as this contains the human disgrace that is Grove Hill. TS5 has some of the towns more desirable properties but due to its size also contains some shite aswell. Yes the council are just side stepping the issue and saying they've no say in the matter, which is rubbish. It's just a matter of time before those reports which say 'there is no health risk' say differently.
