Revisionism is so insipid. Factually, America was ordained with freedom OF religion. Very specifically, that meant freedom to follow one's own denomination and not one "established" by Congress. Some states had "established" denominations. Most of today's America is as ignorant as you are about the people that made up our founding generation; people whose youth was spent in the midst of Calvinist revival. The movement imbued the nation with a cousin of New England Puritanism and started new denominations. Without it, there would have been mostly Anglican Tories, and few dissenters just 10 years after the French & Indian war victory British patriotism. The People had expectations about posterity. And "diversity" wasn't among them.

But we had a load of Euro immigrants who wrecked all that; they were Catholics (like my ancestors), and they took a great deal of the power from your inbred ranks. Right, I think that the Germans tried to make it so everyone in their country was the same. How did that work, history master? Rome was multicultural and while certainly imperfect, it lasted much longer than the Third Reich. And, Greg, would my grandchildren think I was selfish? The man says "we want to send them back with love." and you think he hates them? I too want illegals sent back, but I think their governments should pay the deporation/care and handling bills. The irony of the "send them back with love" statement is too obvious for me to explain. But if you think that the governments of unbelievably poor countries are going to "foot the bill" to deport people from the U.S. back to their country is feasible, then you are clearly delusional. As for his audacity to quote Jesus, our justice system is based upon the Bible so I'd expect one to want to find answers from this resource. I watched a video full of quotes from the Bible that mis-interprets the term "alien." The point of the video is that we owe them because God loves them. God loves us all. At the end of the day, the law is clear (obey the laws of the land.)
For my own understanding, can you show me an example where this man has "terroized" illegal aliens?

Certain parts of our justice system are based on the Bible. I think we gave up the bit about stoning prostitutes and keeping slaves (after awhile). That being said, have you ever heard, "You shall not oppress a sojourner. You know the heart of a sojourner, for you were sojourners in the land of Egypt" (Exodus 22:21). I wonder if Greg was thinking that when he threatened day laborers on Route 1. The only funny thing about that is Greg in camoflauge.

Also, Sojourners goes where it is legal to go. A person who breaks a law to get somewhere and then stays is not a sojourner.
Why is it so offensive to you that we expect people to obey our law? They can apply for citizenship. Do you think having millions of undocumented people in this country is not a risk?

In terms of Greg's antics, I propose that you refer to the video here on this site. It was not a threat of calling ICE that brought Prince William authorities to the scene, it was Greg's clearly menacing, demeaning, threatening manner. Watch the video, listen to the report, and attempt to remain objective.
When is someone a "sojourner" and when are they an undocumented worker? These "sojourners" wandered into the homeland of others looking for a better life. They had no papers.

Depending on the translation, the word "sojourner" from Exodus 22:21 is often replaced with "foreigner." At any rate, the Jews have been "sojourners" or "foreigners" in many lands for long periods of time. Many have remained in disparate parts of the world. The point of the passage is that one should not be cruel to another person from another land. I would think that a person would be able to get that; it seems pretty simple.

So do you disagree with that bit of Scripture? Of course I support legal immigration, but it would take decades for most poor applicants in Latin America to be able to come here. The reason they come is to earn money for their families because there is no work in their own country. This is largely due to American policy, past and present. They do not have decades. If your family did not have enough to eat and had no chance to make a better life, would you "crawl through the window"?

About oppressing the soujourner? No, not how you are using it. That scripture was written to Israel. No Sojourner could ever lay claim to any Israeli land - ever. It was given to them by God. I disagree that anyone has a right to sojourn through the U.S. illegally. I just don't care to discuss the diff between Sojourner and Foreigner. There is a difference. One is a traveller passing through and the other is a squatter if he does not return to his homeland or applies to stay legally.

He showed up to take repeated pictures of people (unaware of their status), left, returned in military clothes, and called them "The trash of Manassas." When the police were called, he left the scene (attempting to elude the law he so well loves), insulted the officer verbally, then made threatening statements towards the officer on his blog.
He then lied about the incident, though the victims' story was corraborated by the police.
I remember Christ's teachings a bit differently.

A Christian does not do what he or she thinks is right; a Christian is supposed to do what Christ would think is right. Christians are supposed to live by this and hope that their sense of right and wrong aligns with Christ. By claiming to live his life as a Christian, Greg is wildly hypocritical in that nothing he does on this issue is according to the teachings of Christ.
