I recently had a 4 stroke 100cc bike and it was my first bike! is the yz 250 too much for my skill level, i know how to ride but haven't done it for long!

A yz250 will have way way more power than a 100cc 4stroke bike will , If you want a 2 stroke then get a 125 or 250cc 4stroke bike ... And just take it slow until you get a feel for the new power you have :)

now i have a 2004 yz 250 it has SOO much compression and SOO much ppower..... i shit my self...and hurt my foot from the compression

I spent last weekend in Everts and rode a borrowed YZ 250, it had been a long time since I rode a two smoker, she was a doozey I'll say that. The guys were somewhat concerned about me keepin up, 60 year olds don't go riding with them very often, so I just beat them a little bit., I didn't want to show off lol. The bike has too much power for me, and you are damn good on it. I need less explosiveness, it felt like it was running out from under me at times. Enjoyed the video, you are a rider.

@Ashby005 If i were you i would go for it. 2 strokes are way more fun to ride, make more power per cc and are cheaper to maintain because they have 1/10th the number moving parts compared to a fourstroke, so u dont have to be a mechanical genius to work on them. And btw a 250 2 stroke makes about 50 horsepower stock, compared to the 38 horsepower that you might be able to get out of a 250 fourstroke. If this helps your decision at all then post back and let me know

@steveak93 haha not even close. my rmz450 cost me more in engine work than all of my 2 strokes combined. in my life ive had an XR70 KX60 CR80 YZ125 YZ250 RMZ 450 and the rmz 450 was the only bike i ever did any engine work to. i had my 125 for 5 years without it evering piling up. and my rmz 450 lasted 3 months and went through a piston cyliner cam shaft cam chain and obviously seals. junk just plain junk
