Trying hard to remember this tune...I thought I was familiar with all his work but this one escaped me somehow! This one sounds more 'bubble gum' than most of his work. I've been a huge fan of his work literally all of my life...at least from about 13 years old. I saw in in concert 6 or 7 times as a teen..he was adorable and so gifted!
He got even better with age as his voice matured, what a velvet voice so talented but under appreciated.....I miss him still. RIP Gene xoxo
I'm older, so grew up with this, one of the best singers of the 20th century. It amazes me to read these comments with all the crap they have out there now. Listen to Gary Puckett, the Righteous Brothers, some of the older bands. The only new talent I've listened to is Brent Smith - great voice - different style - than Gene Pitneys!
What a great tune this is, as are all of his songs.
truly a great talent, sadly missed

Another early Randy Newman tune. Unlike "Just One Smile," I can actually picture what this might sound like with the composer singing it.
