I saw some commercial and the wbsite of this AIRLINES (SAS) and they incentive GLBT events and also some commercial are very immoral. Thats why the company has been failing , BAD IMAGEM FOR THE WORLD.
I ve flown SAS in the 80's from Athens, Greece a couple of times. I remember they were quite good,but i don't know the Scandinavians i've come across were not very friendly. I liked their old livery better. Can someone tell me why their not that good anymore?
@sakusia because they started economizing and cutting routes/service/catering..and the competition, Ryanair/KLM/Lufthansa started eating up their base of clients..they became a dinosour and will probably vanish together with Sabena and Swissair.
@SergioFormoso forget that, SAS will feed the passangers going to LIS,CAI,LAX,DEL and HKG to Lufthansa/Swiss/THAI....and probably soon diseapear itself.

I agree the ad is like "Lost in Translation" but an interesting commercial. I love at the end how the plane flies by without a fuselage.
I like their livery it's IKEA'sh although I know many don't. My experience with them was fine, on board was basic service just like most airlines today and ground staff at CPH were fine.
I hope this airline goes bankrupt soon, it´s absolute crap, one of the worst airlines in europe today. Serviceminded don´t exist in SAS no more, they treat you like shit from the check in to the time you leave the aircraft. SAS has on of the oldest fleet in europe and the employes are a spoiled bunch of idiots. Fuck SAS, dont fly with the ever, let this crap airline go down the drain.
You must be kidding! Cabin crew is great, they're all really kind! I flew in business and it was really good as well! AND they don't have the oldest fleet in europe! You must have flown with 'em the wrong day.
@m1r3o they have many old MD80 and they used their DC9 and DC8 longer than many other carriers...and todays catering and service is on a low level compared to what it was in the 1980S or even 1970S....SAS in the 1970S was a global airline, from Rio to Manila to Calcutta and on to Nairobi/Joburg. Today they feed Lufthansa and other partners.
I have experienced very friendly and professional crews onboard the flight, however their ground staff at the check in is often rude and downright incompetent.
SAS has become an expensive lowcost airline, you have to pay for everything even water! The food they serve is litteraly crap, I've been served FROZEN vetetables, Icecold steaks and the list continues. Or just a tiny sandwich with zero nutrition for a 2½ hour flight.
Their MD80s are being replaced by 737's in 2009 and 2010.
I TOTALLY AGREE!!! I EVEN CALLED THEIR NJ OFFICE HOPING FOR COURTESY AND THEY WERE RUDE!!! I will Fly Czech air or even Aeroflot but never again this LOUSY EXCUSE FOR AN AIRLINE
