What you are describing is exactly what supercars used to be... In the 80s. I wonder.. what prevents americans from building quality cars. Rolex, Designer shoes, villas by the sea. You have luxury options for rich people in every single aspect of american life except cars. Therefore somehow technology, styling, handling, build quality isnt for "real men" and were all sooo jealous of your dragsters and monster trucks.
