Well, at least this cops' boss owned up to it, and did the right thing by imposing a two-week suspension without pay and additional training. Hopefully that training includes that so-called "profanity" is just words and ultimately doesn't mean anything.
If the girl's dad ended up dying from the delay in response, I'd like to think the punishment would be much more severe.
