Ο Αριστοτέλης, το Πάριο χρονικό, ο Απολλόδωρος κ.α. αναφέρουν ότι οι Έλληνες πριν λέγονταν Γραικοί, πρβ: «πρώτον μεν Γραικοί νυν δε Έλληνες» (Πάριο Χρονικό). Γιατί τέτοια αποστροφή για το όνομα Γραικός;
