if your no crazy rich buy the cheapest lighest rod you can get a small to light reel shouldn't cost more then 30 quid, buy some of the ready made float rigs, usually used on poles tie them to you main line using a loop to loop knot and your ready to go, great fun and easiest way to fish for beginners
