It happened long time ago. She was only 13 during the christmas holidays. Her dad was killed on his way home from work. Those 3 americans gave her couple bags of groceries from the base commissary to pay off her father's death. That was the last time she ever saw them.

I know. I was a military brat myself. But I wasn't a bad kid growing up just thinking back because my Dad was in the USMC. He would of killed me if I did something like that but other than that it's never my nature to do something horrible and terrible thing to a person even if I was a teenager back than. This generation. Both parents have to work becaue of the economic struggles. Also, naturally bad kids will commit serious crimes in adult life. People are People.

my mom raised me and my sis alone, and we have never been on any kind of gov't assitance in terms of food stamps or public housing (though we're middle class). As such if you are middle class at some point in your life you have probably used welfare. That usually isn't generally called welfare. subsidized mortgages, pell grant, any kind of subsidized federal student loan, business owner? probably got a business loan from a bank subsidized by the Feds or a grant from local gov't.
