Ive been through that town many times. No idea they had a SRNB, that sterling is 16/16. Ive called and asked about the other two sirens and still havn't gotten an answer. Great recording.
@Siren1000T1 thanks, im pretty sure what the top one is but im not sure what the middle one is im gonna guess is it a sterling m-10?, if not do you know

About the same pitch as the two Moore Thunderbolts I recorded, and my favorite setting. Nice job.

trainz675 1 year ago
@trainz675 Well by that i meant the noise isnt that high not neccesarially the chopper level.

Does the Model 2 and/or Sterling work?
CorvetteLoverZR1 1 year ago
@CorvetteLoverZR1 as far as im aware no they dont
TheFiremansavage 1 year ago
if the 2001 was installed in 2009 it would be a 2001-130 because they stopped making SRNBsin 2008
97Siren 1 year ago
@97Siren oh thats right,sorry
TheFiremansavage 1 year ago
@97Siren Actually, we have a lot of 2001-SRNB's in Lincoln, and they were put into service in 2009.
dockwellian45 1 year ago
@dockwellian45 they are 2001-130s because they stopped making SRNBS in 2008.
97Siren 1 year ago
@97Siren Have you ever seen the sirens in person?
dockwellian45 1 year ago
@97Siren no i asked and yes it is a 2001 SRNB
TheFiremansavage 1 year ago
@97Siren It's still a SRNB because i saw the rotator box.
TheFiremansavage 1 year ago
ok when it was installed, it was probably from a different location then.
97Siren 1 year ago
@97Siren No its new.
TheFiremansavage 1 year ago

TheFiremansavage 1 year ago
@TheFiremansavage Model 5s are bigger then Model 2s and they usally have 2 coverings while the model 2 has 3.
Siren1000T1 1 year ago
Great recording of that 1000T. Its cool looking at 3 different sirens all in one location.
Siren1000T1 1 year ago
@Siren1000T1 thanks, im pretty sure what the top one is but im not sure what the middle one is im gonna guess is it a sterling m-10?, if not do you know
TheFiremansavage 1 year ago
@TheFiremansavage You would be correct. The middle horizontal siren is a Sterling M-10 and the top one is a Federal Signal Model 2.
Siren1000T1 1 year ago
