lol of course. Unfortunately, even an army of a couple dozen AP Wolverines and ten or so RG + AdA Titans will murder a whole lot of vGDI Predators and such, their special units are absolutely screwed against other armies.
Mainly two well microed BH Commandos and a few Attack Bikes can destroy many Wolverines and Titans. Behemoths are even easier to kill >.>
And yes, corrupters + devourers/reaper tripods ftw :)
The whole concept of Behemoths is just BS: i mean why would you want to garrison a unit thats gonna spend most of its time on the back lines!?!? its not like steel talons have any useful infantry to do it with neway
The garrison mechanism for Behemoth is to protect it from aircraft, commandos, and fast units.
The Steel Talons have those four infantry for a reason; they are a vehicle-using faction. They've got infantry at all because of their garrisoning abilities.
For the Behemoth, Rifleman Squads are anti-rocket infantry/commando, Missile Squads are anti-air/light vehicle, Combat Engineers are to capture husks, and Grenadiers are for anti-garrison.
lol a rifleman squad garrisoned in a Behemoth will never kill a commando unless it is already heavily damaged. but the main reason the mechanic sux is that regular juggs get bombard target which allows them to stay far away from enemy threats. the garrison ability is no replacement for it.
lol of course. jugs pwn behemoths anyday. but steel talons isn't about behemoths, but railguns. 5k railgun upgrade is pretty damn expensive if you ask me >.>
Yeah true but vGDI also gets rail guns so I dont see much difference in the vGDI/Talons late game except for the fact that vGDI gets juggernauts and Zone Troopers. Oh well I guess that both vGDI and Talons are better off than Zocom who get no artillery at all.
Yeah. But in the end vGDI is perhaps the best, or with the most advantage since they have the Sonic Emitter, Shatterer, and four railgun units. And they have the good old arty and spotting :)
Even with those disadvantages well micro'd Titans and wolverines can do a lot of damage in the early game thanks to the titans ability to shoot over buildings. The MRT is also somewhat of a good unit in the late game for healing epic units and Mammoths in battle. It still is useless compared to a corruptor though.
I do think that EA wants to place a commando with the Steel Talons but unfortunately, It would seriously disrupt the game balance as Steel Talons are focused on Overwhelming Pawnage, Oh Wait! Sorry, it's FirePower and the commando just gives the Steel Talons an even longer, stronger, better sword (Metaphorically speaking) so they took the Steel Talons' Commando, turned him into a woman and kicked her to the Black Hand thus answering the question as to where the Black Hand got the extra Commando.
Why not use a prodegy/mastermind to mind control a refinery and then use its build radius to place a signal transmitter in your opponents base and then deploy the mothership that way?

Garrisoning Behemoths are for protection.
Rifleman Squads = anti-rocket squad/commando
Missile Squads = anti-air/light vehicle
Combat Engineer = immediate husk recapture
Grenadier Squad = anti-garrison
it's sort of ironic infantry are very important for Steel Talons when they have the least amount in the game.

steel talons can also conquer a BH rush with conf. cabals and rocket troops by using wolverines and maybe titans if he has vehicles

true, since The Black Hand are mostly concentrated on infantry rather than armored warfare.
