To the soprano: you sound amazing. I love your tone, and you kept the "blood" in the piece. I think a lot of people leave that out and it ends up sounding bland, but this was wonderful.

Another wonderful version of this Villa-Lobos piece. A very especial sensation invades me when I find and can get pleasure from something so beautiful. I read the great comments and the further information it contains as the fact, for instance, that they got a Brazilian friend to help and that's why the soprano's words in Portuguese are next to perfect. What a great work! Only good things can happen to people capable of love so much what they do and share it with us.

Villa-Lobos "Bachianas Brasileiras no. 5" may be a difficult piece for singers, specially for the high notes, the words in Portuguese and the "bocca chiusa" ending. The musicians in this video are great - they give the piece the right mood. But the soprano is awesome: I don't know where she is from, but her Portuguese is perfect, quite understandable, she must be Brazilian - or a pretty dedicated singer. Congratulations!
