  • Reading your profile, you said something about playing on an AGO pedal board..what does AGO stand for? By the way, I'm also 6'2(very unusual for a lady, but my family is tall..all three of us kids were over six feet, me being the "shortest" when we became adults) and have size 12W feet in womens(11 in mens), so I feel your pain.

The choir at my church has done it only

once at my very small church, for Easter

a couple of years ago. I fell in love with the

    song.

  • it was 1984... church childrens choir.. I was depended on singing the high vocals.. and I will raise him up on the last day my voice broke.. as a tenor now, no problems.. what a time in my life..

  • How lovely to listen to this; just when I was falling by the wayside. God Bless you.

  • Why thank you - how nice of you. Glad you visited my video's GOD BLESS YOU also †

  • What a beautiful rendition of this song.

I just listened to your wonderful playing of WHAT A FELLOWSHIP (comments diabled there)...I watched the 1955 movie last night, NIGHT OF THE HUNTER--and it featured Robert Mitchum in a terrific role--and singing the song.

May God continue to bless you with this magnificent talent you possess..

  • To be able to play perfectly by ear, without reading music is pure talent.

  • Very consoling and redeeming. This is just great.

    Thank you my friend.

    God bless.

  • Hi organpipe8 I play this song in my church and in spanish is:

-Yo soy el pan de vida el que viene a mí no tendrá hambre, el que cree en mí no tendrá sed. Nadie viene hacia mí si mi Padre no le atrae.

ESTRIBILLO: Yo le resucitaré, yo le resucitaré , yo le resucitaré en el día final

-El Pan que yo daré es mi cuerpo vida para el mundo. El que siempre coma de mi carne, vivirá en mí como yo vivo en mi Padre.

    ESTRIBILLO.

    Gracias, Thank you.

  • I have to say this is the best Organ player That I know living today =] Keep up the good work it makes me cry sometimes because, its Fantastic!!!!!!!

  • I must agree

  • You did pretty well for memory! The music is actually in The Hymnal 1982 #335.

  • I was raised Catholic (recently converted non-denominational Christian) and of all the Catholic hymns in your section, this one has always been the most powerful growing up and one of my most favorite. Save yourself time redoing this one. You already nailed it :)

  • You are so kind - thanks - Lance †

  • I am the Bread of life, He who comes to Me shall not hunger, He who believes in Me shall not thirst. No one can come to Me Unless the Father draw him. And I will raise him up, And I will raise him up, And I will raise him up on the last day. The bread that I will give Is My flesh for the life of the world, And he who eats of this bread, He shall live for ever, He shall live for ever. And I will raise him up, And I will raise him up, And I will raise him up on the last day.
  • 2 verses i'd like to share, but later.... and then.........

    yes lord we believe

    that you are the christ

    the son...of God..

who has come in to the world

and i will raise him up

and i will raise him up

and i will raise him up on the last day.

outstanding organ playing.....you made my day complete!!!

  • On a bad day I listen to this piece and it brings PEACE to my heart. God bless you.

  • A very inspiring and comforting catholic hymn.

It reminds me of the following: I am the truth, the way and the life. Eat my flesh and drink my blood, and you will have everlasting life in heaven.

Jesus is truly Lord of all.

  • You have no need to re-do this piece. It is beautiful and to me ear flawless the way it is.

  • WOW that is kind of you. GOD BLESS YOU

  • I have never heard this played more beautifully, I love the little descant you do on each verse, adds so much. God bless you and your work you are doing on here. Thank You again, it was awesome !

  • Thanks, my Honor. I do not have the music for this one yet, doing it from hearing it played before, I am not Catholic (Episcopal) Going to try to get music soon and will re-do it (maybe) but who knows, not after comments like yours, so kind of you. Blessings

  • Ummmmm, very nice and peaceful.

  • Thank You - it worked then ;-) Blessings !

  • Are you currently a church organist? If so, do you play on a pipe organ? If you're still an organist, I would love to see some recordings of you playing at mass. This organ at your home is nice, but I know that it does not do you full justice.

  • Please read my Profile, it will answer your questions - Thanks

  • Okay. That's a nice organ to have in your home.

  • What church is this in? It's a lovely interpretation; I tend to play it faster. Anyway, u rule.

  • nice playing. one of my favourite pieces :)

  • Awesome. You are a great organist. It's been awhile since I've heard a great organist play! Hee! You're Episcopal and I identify as a Lutheran (ELCA), so our beliefs are basically identical!
