I need to get some of that 100% Aloe Vera gel, black soap and that shea butter. How do you use those two products? Maybe I'll try that Bronner Bros peppermint shampoo, do you like it?

@mylaylay18 Hello, I bought the Aloe Vera Gel @ the local grocery store near the skin lotions for 4 dollars. Black Soap & Shea Butter, I purchased at the local beauty supply. I don't like ordering stuff, so I just called around until I found them in my city. That Black Soap is the only thing that I use on my face. Oh, one more thing. About that VO-5 shampoo...use in a soap bottle in a bathroom to wash your hands and the conditioner, you can mix concoction with olive oil, coconut oil and honey. It made my hair supper soft. I use this concoction for prepoo or for deep conditioning.

Girl, I love hair products. What you displayed I also use in my hair if I'm wearing twist or curly fro. For pressed/ flat ironed hair I will use little harsh products like Cream of Nature and Aveda brilliant shine promade.

Hello Misshaircare2009! You know? I've been tempted to press my hair since I hit the one year mark, but I haven't yet. I have a pressing comb and a flat iron and both have temperature controls on them. You got me thinking sister. LOL. Thank you for your comment and God Bless.

What you can do is blow dry the hair and the next day flat iron it. Do use a serum for heat protectanct  or coconut oil before you flat iron to help your hair from heat damage.

Go to this youtuber...Truthishair. She's natural and very experienced on how to maintain your hair while pressed.
