I think that Leon Trotski should have been Lenin`s sucessor and not Stalin. He was a traitor to the Soviet Union and the most brutal dictator ever in history. Because of his fault, now a lot of people confuse Stalinism with Communism.

Just little correction. Chicherin was not fired from his post because he was homosexual, but because he nerve collapsed(he was not punised during Great Purge).
If only people had listened to Lenin maybe the USSR would still be standing.
