@XxXBynumUnitXxX actually... "let the right one in" which is the film that "let me in" is a remake of... the song was inspired by "let the right one in" so they wanted to do a video that paid homage to it... i haven't seen "let me in" yet, but i heard they did a great job with it... "let the right one in" is one of the best vampire films and just all around horror films ever made. John Ajvide Lindqvist wrote the novel and the screenplay which definitely helped the film reach it's full potential
Let the Right One In is a terrific book. It's been made into a couple of decent movies(with the Swedish original being a hair better than the American remake, but both are good), and now this video, which sort of sums up everything, to a cool tune no less. Awesome song, great video.
I LOVE CHRISSIE HYNDE. She sounds amazing. I am gonna use this 2010 tour for an excuse to visit OHIO for my first time. Great new song. The vampire thing is a bit overdone, but the songs stands fine with just the Chrissie clips!!
Great story about these two at chicago.timeout.com/articles/lollapalooza/87807/lollapalooza-2010-interview-chrissie-hynde-of-the-pretenders chorus of “Perfect Lover,” which Hynde delivers “He was learning how to stand / When I was wearing my first wedding band.” (Jones was born while the Pretenders were putting out their first album.)
So won’t touring behind an album about their thwarted love just keep reopening those wounds? They acknowledge it probably will.
is this video screaming "let me in" to anyone?

Vampires are stupid and overdone, but Chrissie's still got it! I can't believe how great her voice sounds after all these years.

now that's a romantic story. Speaking of vampire refrences, doesn't JP look a little like Sam Merlott?

I understand that the song was inspried by a Nordic vampire movie? But I am really loving this song! It's catchy and the video is of great quality.
